First time for me since it’s been Ichiro. It was a pizza hut building 20 years ago or so. This was a takeout order, but it’s beautiful inside the restaurant. All the booths seemed to be taken and it was crowded and I didn’t look at the decor alot, but it was awesome. I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai🥡 and 2 pcs Octopus Nigiri 🍣 The sushi pcs were really good considering it’s frozen Octopus around here. The rice could have been a little more, but the Octopus were good size pcs. The picked Ginger 🫚 wasn’t like anything I’ve ever had. I tried a piece and the texture was different, and it wasn’t as strong tasting as other pickled Ginger Ive had before and I liked it. The Wasabi wasn’t real (you’re just not gonna find it in this part of the world) so I didn’t even bother with it and the pieces didn’t have any wasabi on them either. 5 bux for 2 pcs. was good I thought. I learned several decades ago to never order Pad Thai from anywhere except and authentic Thai restaurant. I’ve had it several places that list their establishment authentic chinese, Japanese, Thai, food. Sometimes Korean Might be in there somewhere too, but I still have to try the Pad Thai if I hadn’t had it before. The Pad Thai really suffers and mostly it’s just Pad Thai noodles stir fried with veggies and meat with teriyaki sauce tossed in it. The same thing if I ordered chinese stir fry. This was real Pad Thai here. now it didn’t have eggs or brussel sprouts in it, I also didn’t see any Tofu, but it had peanuts and green onions in a sauce that was in my top 5 pad thai ever. It was a deep reddish brown color not orange like the others I’ve had (unless it was cooked in a authentic Thai only restaurant) I really think they used Tamarind paste and I don’t know if Palm Sugar was used, but it had all the taste elements bitter, salty, sweet, sour, bitter and spicy 🥵 I’ll order it again and next time I’ll know it’s authentic and ask them to dial the heat down a notch or two. It came with a Lime wedge to squeeze too. I got shrimp, but it had chicken and beef listed as well. the shrimp was 13.95 and it was a big portion.

I don't like to leave negative reviews, but I've gave this place 3 chances. I love Japanese food. The first time we ate in a few years ago, there was a huge clump of hair on my sushi. The waiter himself was very nice, but kind of acted like he was embarrassed of his fellow employees. The place smelt musty, was dark, and when I ran my finger along a ridge in the middle it was covered in dust. Fast forward over the years, had takeout a couple of times. The guy who always answers the phone (the owner?) is very rude. He hung up on my wife as she was still ordering, 1000 percent on purpose. He was offended that she opened the bag to double check that everything was there. ( We ended up still missing a soy sauce). The salad that came with the sushi was excessively small. I'm familiar with side salads for sushi across many places, but this seemed like it was purposely skimpy. Someone else ordered a chicken lunch, and it seemed like it was toddler portioned (see pics). The sushi itself wasn't bad, but there's another place in town that's consistently been better. They were out of yellowtail, which I never had happen before, anywhere. We value human decency so we won't be going back.

I've been ordering takeout from here for over a year and it's always great. We usually get sushi, which is always delicious, but today we tried shrimp pad thai, egg rolls, and shrimp and steak hibachi (which also comes with soup and salad). Everything was delicious and we got so much food for $59 (enough to have a second meal later). The food actually has a lot of flavor which seems hard to find at a lot of places around here that are more bland. I read in reviews that the pad thai was spicy so I asked for mild and it was perfect. The owner Billy is also so kind and remembers his repeat customers. He always thanks me for my business and is appreciative of my tips, so I'm happy to spend my hard earned money here once a week or so for a great meal.

Hey, after a long day, therapy is at 7AM. Hour drive to work till 5:30 pm, an hour long drive to pick my fiance up to take him to get food. He told my fiance about Ichiro. So after a very long day we go in, to the bar. Now, this is our first time here. We just moved out this way and not from this area of Tennessee. The man I would assume as the owner, his pic, was on the wall in a plaque. He asked why we didn't sit at a table, and we answered we wanted to get drinks. He handed us menus and asked what kind of drinks we wanted. Now we just day down, wasn't there 2 minutes. So I asked if the drinks were on the menu, and he said no walked off. He comes back 2 minutes later and tells us to come to the corner counter as there were other customers who wanted to sit at the bar while picking up the menus...🤔 i was just putting my keys in my purse. No one was waiting for a seat at the bar when I got up to leave, and not to mention there were at least 4 more seats. I've never felt so embarrassed and mistreated at any establishment of this caliber. I mean, it wasn't Ruth Chris or The Rutledge, but it was nice. That man was so rude, and for him to treat us that way. My money spends too. He literally picked our menus up, basically saying we're not allowed to sit at the bar. We were there a total of 5 minutes before he did that. That's never happened to me, and I go out to eat a lot. But I left immediately, and I will not allow anyone to treat me this way and spend money at their establishment. And I don't care about the ticket. We have to do better middle Tennessee. This is another example of how some up here treat outsiders. Beautiful establishment, but terrible attitude customer service. But went down the street to Ginger and the BEST SERVICE, and great food. No drinks. I may try you guys again when I'm not so comfortably dressed and see how the will be then. Hopefully, the service...

I have been eating at the establishment for years.I also hate leaving bad reviews. Though I love the food over the years, especially within the past six months, the customer service has gone down by a lot. The owner is always rude whenever we come in (Especially if we aren’t Dressed up)- Normally, my boyfriend and I come here after a long day of work, and we are usually in our scrubs- As we were tonight. It was not busy, but there were what seemed to be a couple of regulars in there buying lots of alcohol and were getting the upmost respect. Us being underage can’t and got treated awful. In addition to all of that, my boyfriend tried to order a side of lo mein and the waitress-She’s probably in her mid 50s -screamed at my boyfriend that they do not do that. (Everyone around us looked at us and it was extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing) If it is such a big deal, it needs to be put on the menu. After 30 minutes of us, not getting our drinks refilled, not even asking if we were ok, or needed anything else . We go to pay our bill (which was not cheap) and she gets mad because my boyfriend didn’t want to leave a tip. I’m sorry, but you’ve got to be a better waitress ,not call him a cheapskate and laugh in his face to get any sort of tip from us (we normally would leave her a great tip-she’s always our waitress!). We will sadly no longer be eating at this establishment. This was always our date spot or a place we would go after working a long day...
