Long Post Alert My process to get the car was great, smooth and told whatever to get in you the car I later found out. True the no credit check is good for ones with challenged credit and working on their credit at the time and need a vehicle. So went in the later part of June. June 27th to be exact purchased a 2020 Equinox. Nice Vehicle test drove it with rep "Air T." nice gentleman doing his job but as we were driving the check engine light came on (which should have been a red flag to me then) so I told him and when we got back to dealership he took it to the back stayed there for a few more hours came back up front and insured it was taken care of. Ok sign papers listen to the sales manager Edwin if I am not mistaken listening to how they word what they explaining so it can later be said they told you without actually telling you. Like you have a cap on how far you can travel in order for them to fix the vehicle and you stuck with a 5k repair possibly. ok Moving forward to Saturday and Sunday after purchase the check engine light come back on so I took it to AutoZone they printed out what codes and the picture I immediately emailed "Air" told him everything and explained how I recognized the signs because my chevy malibu did the same thing and end up I was out of 3k for a transmission because it was going bad and the dealer ship kept patching it up til it got to the point. so I got no response so even though I stay 45 minutes away I made it there waiting on everyone to make there for work that morning. Ok Mr. Edwin (if this is not his name I am going to say the sales Manager) spoke with Service manager Shane he presented him with the papers I emailed and brought up with me took the vehicle back long enough to say they looked at it and reset the light but to get a person to believe they fixed it. explained to them in the email how it was stalling on changing out etc. says the codes from AutoZone were different from what they got basically and they fixed it. Ok Spoke directly to Shane after this one and get this now here it was July not a good month or maybe just a lil over a month you asked the miles on the car come back and say O Ms Haymer you have the warranty but you over the miles allowed for the month or whatever and you will be responsible for whatever. Mind you if the car was properly fixed and looked at correctly and listened to me back in June this review would not be So my experience with the process was great but me getting to enjoy the car that a note has not been late as a matter of fact early payment before due date and I am doing my part for this to be happening to a car that started right after purchase is crazy. and my fault because I should have left the car there on the lot when the check engine light came on the first time but me trusting them at the word not once but twice well that on me. Even tho Shane the service manger and I had a discussion about bringing the vehicle back which was later July after it had I brought this matter to their attention back 4 days after I bought the car now I am responsible for a repair bill on a car with an warranty that notes are current that is merely 2.5 months new to me and have caps on miles. So to the next make sure you listen to all the key words before signing your paper work please. Just because an individual have less than perfect credit to go a real major car dealership does not mean they should have to go through anything like this. So here we are in august 12 and this morning at 7:11 am on my way to work the check engine light came back on and on the dash board it displayed Engine Power reduced. same as my 2019 Chevy everything I told them up front that I noticed happening with this Chevy. but again this on me and money that I lost and probably go end up on my credit but miss a payment because you trying to get "OUR" car fixed lol they coming faster than...
Read moreAt first business is good ut God forbids anything happens in your life they are quick to turn off your vehicle but veeeeeery slow to turn bck on, communication is as if they are above you sitting high and looking down on you they are quick to put you in a vehicle but the people from just about all of the different departments are no help once you've driven off after that your nothing to them. UPDATE so the places supposedly opens @10 on Saturday we'll after 36 calls and being placed on hold atleast 4 times I finally got KAREN on the phone now how ironic is that she'd be named Karen ,, so after I sent over 4 different emails I was emailed bck saying that paperwork was unexceptible and as I was trying to explain where to locate exactly what she needed I was told that as a customer she doesn't hv time to sit on the phone and talk to me and hung up.....so I had to get the insurance company to highlight exactly where everything was and I I'm telling her I was trying to explain that to you before you hung up ...just s very nasty person in general well Karen I hope that your never in a situation where you have just a few hours to say goodbye to a loved one and misses it bc the person that your talking to doesn't have the time to go thru your paperwork thank God for the years we was able to laugh even tho I didn't get to say good by and yes I screen shot everything and recorded both...
Read moreEh, it was cool at first . Seemed simple enough but literally as soon as I left the dealership my engine light came on. Followed by the engine coolant overheating light . That’s a hard no for me. So far it’s not fixed yet they want me to make payments for a car I haven’t been able to use . When I opened the hood , liquid was dripping out. Now to me something is extremely wrong . I’m supposed to pay $200 to tow it 40 Miles when their customer service has been awful thus far. Why am I calling back to back and getting no follow up as promised. Yet they can call me multiple times to remind me about my upcoming payment? Idk I personally am having so much buyers remorse right now.🥺 I asked to just have a total refund of my down payment and give the car back … says they’ll call me to do that … never heard back . It’s been a headache….
Update: after a week or so they didn’t fix the car instead asked me to put more down for a new car, I declined. And asked for a refund. I never received my entire refund. I spoke to Eric Nicholson about it and he ghosted my emails requesting my full refund. I paid for a month for insurance and for nothing . The whole situation was unprofessional and strange. I also had to pay to tow the car 41 miles . So at the end of it I lost money and still had to walk away with no car because of how they handled...
