I was in the store today at 5:15 pm! Upon my arrival, there were two other customers in the store waiting, no staff up front or at the register, all three were in the back! No one came to greet me or take my order for approximately 5 mins., during this time they were all in the back chatting and one person was on his texting on his phone! Once the young lady came to the register she informed me that even tho my order had been placed two hours earlier and paid for (online), it was not ready! I asked for a complimentary (sm) side for the inconvenience, she spoke to another young woman in back and advised they would not be accommodating my request! I asked for the manager, she stated there wasn't a manager only a owner, and the owner was on a weeks vacation! She all but refused to provide a contact person! With further insistence I was given a random name and number! By this time another lady began to complain about her order being delayed! Another customer who entered towards the end of this interaction even offered me her phone number after seeing how inattentive & unprofessionally the staff behaved! Not to mention, items were left out of my order & I had to request they give me the items I paid for! How unfortunate Honeybaked! Do better, customer service is the cornerstone of this type of business and I assure you, word of mouth can definitely have a impact! This is the 2nd poor service experience with this location! Previous I found hair in my salad & was refused a refund! After many months I gave another chance! I love the food at Honeybaked I just hope they will put forth better effort! Try another location, this one...
Read moreMy sister & I went to the gym & decided we would try Honey Baked Ham. A young kid was on the register which I love to see. He took our order separately & we repeated the order to make sure it was correct. We waited abt 15 mins for our meals just to have a woman come from the back slap our bag on the counter along with a distorted look on her face. We opened our bags to see that both of our sandwiches were reversed. I'm allergic to mustard & asked for mayo. Our bread was hard. No onions were on her sandwich & I also asked for a croissant instead. The lady said "Well he put regular bread on the ticket.." I guess my expression made her say "I'll fix it, hand it to me." Um NO THANK YOU. I'm literally thinking she is angrier now that will have to trash the 2 sandwiches. I just said no never mind. We just decided we won't patronize this business anymore. You should be careful how you treat ppl because "word of mouth goes around faster than walking in by your feet" We could have chosen ANYWHERE to eat but to make us feel bad because the cashier got the order wrong after repeating it twice? Don't make the customer feel as if it's our fault. Ask if you're not sure. We are patient individuals &...
Read moreMy son who is very ill (liver failure and kidney failure) and I went into the restaurant to order food. The lady behind the counter wouldn’t even look at him. She was clicking on the register. I asked my son, “did you give her your order?” He said, no. She hasn’t even looked at me. He looks sickly. Which he is. But that is no excuse to not recognize him. She was constantly clicking. I said, Mam is there a problem? She said, I’m trying to log into the register. I said, “does it take that long? She turned the screen around and showed me a screen that showed the numbers 1 through 10. I said ok I’m sorry.” She still hasn’t looked at him. She finally took my son’s order and went into the back. The next thing I know, a young guy came out and said, how can I help you? I told him, it’s nice to see a friendly face. My son said, thank you sir. He gave him his order. Everything after that went fine. I told the young guy how rude the lady was. There is no excuse for that. The restaurant can pull the photo footage if they don’t believe me. My son has difficulties. No need to make him feel worse....
