For me, Cinco de mayo has always had good food, pleasant atmosphere, and friendly employees. The individual serving portions are generous and delivered to the table quickly. The salsa is nice and spicy but not too spicy, and the chips are wonderfully thin, fresh, and crispy! You will find the beer is icy cold and the mixed drinks are full strength, not watered down. Good margaritas, on the rocks or frozen, both ways are good! Cost wise, you can get lunch for as little as $5 without alcohol or spend as much as you like.
This restaurant is clean and sanitary feeling and the staff cleans the tables properly to comply with current COVID-19 health standards to help prevent the spread of germs. Also, because of the COVID-19 virus they have suspended the Sunday buffet indefinitely for prudent health reasons. No worries though, the menu has something good for everyone, so we didn't miss the buffet today at all. Although I rarely have room for dessert, their desserts are good too. Lunch or dinner, you will probably like Cinco de mayo, so go ahead and...
Read moreI really like this place for their food, in fact I've been coming here on at least a no weekly basis for over 6 years. My wife and I never "eat-in", we always order to go. This is where I get a little frustrated at times. These folks, as nice as can be, can screw up the simplest orders you could imagine. Queso dip with jalapenos? Might as well just order it opposite of how you'd like. Another thing is, as we usually always order the same meal(4 soft tacos, large queso with jalapeno and extra chip......yeah I know, extra chips??), so why is the order ALWAYS a different price.....?? And when I order a large chz dip, I would like enough chips to actually eat it, but instead you get charged somewhere between 1-2$ for each very small bag. BUT..... like I said, I've been coming here for years, and I keep coming back, because the food is very good, the salsa and chips are the best and prices are pretty decent. The people are nice and attentive, food is prepared very fast and generally good experience. A few complaints but...
Read moreThe absolute worst Mexican restaurant in Georgia!!!!!!!!. Try EL TIO. LA FIESTA OR La SALSA instead! Yull thank me later. Don't bother unless u want terrible service!!!!and lots of condescending and ratchet attitude. Also descriminates against people of color(Asian Afro Latino Carribean or darker skinned latino)...will not b served or treated with humanity if darker skinned. Never have thought service and food could b this bad!!!!! This place is mismanaged and the staff is very rude and immature. The staff can use some extensive cultural training on different races and learn customer service A hole in the wall eerie place cramped in with a wretched setting. Hopefully the owner can improve the unbecoming status of this place. Before it's runs all the...
