Let me start by saying that this was actually my 3rd time visiting this restaurant. I love bringing my out-of-town friends and family to this spot because it feels soooo ATL and the food is really good. Unfortunately, third time was NOT a charm! Let me start with the good… I made a reservation for 3:30 pm on Fathers Day! I was nervous they would be packed but surprisingly they were not! When we got there we were sat immediately! The next thing that is a plus is that the food is always so flavorful!! Kudos to the chef! Also, the manager and our server were nice. Sadly, It went downhill from there. After waiting for 30 minutes and watching two tables on each side of ours get serviced, when they came in 10-15 minutes after us, I waved someone down and asked if we were going to get service. A very nice young lady came to our table and told us she was not our server but she would take our order. After having waited so long, we ordered drinks and food! By 4:30 we finally had our food! Did I mention our reservation was at 3:30 and yes we were on time! Now, it was my fault for not reading the menu better. But I ordered the French Toast and assumed it came with eggs. Nope! For $16 you get bread and bacon! So, I ordered a side of grits and eggs, which was taking so long to come out that I actually went and spoke with the manager. I’m not sure if they had to cook a new pot of grits or wait for the chicken to lay the eggs but at this point I was tired, hungry, and very disappointed! After approximately 20 minutes or more we got our sides to go! Now, maybe it was the fact that it was Father’s Day and there were no men at our table that our service was horrible! The tables we were sandwiched between had men diners so maybe that’s why their service was so swift! I also noticed that one of tables had guests that were friends with a male that worked there because he came over twice and dapped them up! All while, we’re sitting there just waiting for a head nod! But I guess when they automatically add a 20% gratuity to the check, there is no once to be effective, efficient, or expedient! Needless to say, I’m not sure I’ll be back. I definitely won’t bring my out of town guests anymore. This was not a good look! Plus my guest did not like her French Toast sandwich and actually sent it back. So you’re probably wondering why the 3 stars… 1- Immediately greeted and seated promptly 2- Flavor of food was good. That Breakfast Bowl is AMAZING! I hate I didn’t order that! 3- Music is always fire!!

Upon entry, I noticed the hookahs on the tables and I immediately assumed my experience would be just like the other hookah lounges I’ve visited in the city... however, it was only noon. It wasn’t! The food is definitely the star of this venue, and nothing else. The vibe inside is really cool. It’s pretty high energy, so if loud music and laughter isn’t your thing, brace yourself. There are a few television screens throughout that gives it a sports bar feel. Oh, but when the food arrives, the dining experience transforms. I tried the jerk chicken rolls, and ate every single one of them. There is just enough spice, and the wrapper is crispy and not greasy at all. The chicken is tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. As an entree, I had the honey bourbon salmon with a side of mashed potatoes and corn. The salmon was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The glaze was my favorite. The mashed potatoes were great, but unless you love (and I mean love) spicy food, you would want to opt for something other than corn. It is incredibly hot, but very delicious. I’ve never had anything like it. It was my favorite thing on the plate. I also tried my friend’s veggie bowl, and it was really good as well. The servers were attentive, and the wait for food was not too long. Maybe 20-25 minutes. I think there is a lot next to the building, but street parking is also available. Like other black owned restaurants, they do add a standard “tip” to every check. I’m already a good tipper, so these things give me a bit of pause, but not so much that I won’t return in the very near future. I’ll be back.

Stopped in for brunch and immediately noticed that the restaurant was decorated well, door was opened for me by whom I assumed was the owner or manager. Was seated quickly as the restaurant was fairly empty. Menu was by QR code and I noticed that the mimosas that I read about online prior to entering the establishment weren't on there. I asked my waiter about it and he told me that they did indeed have unlimited mimosas for $10 with several flavors available. I got the pineapple mimosa which came in a glass followed by a carafe. That was probably one of the highlights of the meal. My waiter was friendly but appeared to be only 1 of 2 available so I didn't get checked in on as often as needed. I ordered the French Toast sandwich with bacon as there is also a sausage offering. When receiving my meal, I was given the sandwich with sausage. I asked about the mistake the waiter offered to bring me a side of bacon or take the plate to the back to be fixed. I opted for the side, although I should have sent it back as the sausage on the sandwich was definitely the precooked sausage you buy in the box. This was unappetizing and the French toast was very dry. The advertised triple sec glaze for the French toast was barely there and lacked flavor. The fruit on the French toast was fresh though and appreciated. The eggs on the sandwich were also well seasoned. I was slightly perturbed by the automatic 20% gratuity added to my bill especially since it was just me dining solo.

Servers scam through gratuity, Things Thrown At us, Disresepcted, Homophobic. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!! For my first time out in my twenties (Which I waited later because I usually get judge when going out places). I went in with my fiancé Feb 9 2024. Around 10:30 we walked in and was greeted by a server who asked if we needed a table, in which we quickly replied Yes she looked around and there were a lot of open tables she proceeded to ignore us by having a conversation with other server (who originally wanted us) but that woman ( a light skinned woman with straight back braids down her back who was 6ft and a lil on heavier side and big Chested) made a point to get us then as we waited 1 minutes for a table she wanted her conversation so bad she said just sit at the bar. So we proceed to sit at the bar where we asked her for a hookah menu, she told us to scan code we said we didn’t have our phones( which we make a point to leave so we can have our attention on each other) she then with an attitude that was already there said I’ll have to see. We had already ordered our drinks which were just TWO SCREW DRIVERS which ended up being 20.00$ She scammed us for 40% graduity and we were still gonna give her a tip which would’ve made our tip way over 50% of our bill. The total was 20.00$ gratuity was 6.00$ and we were giving extact change so she could have an extra dollar and she made a smart comment saying we don’t take change so move that and flicked her hand at us. She then proceeded to ignore us as we were waiting for our chnage back. After we tried to wait we tried to get other server to get her for the hookah and when she came back she threw the menu at us from behind, at that point we wanted the change back and we waited but she ignored us on her phone and walking around and pouring water on the ground with the bar gun. Everything else but acknowledge us especially when my fiancé was respectful waving her hand to grab her attention as she was for SEVERAL TIMES giving direct eye contact where she made a point to turn her back to us every time. My fiancé is a server so she tried to give her the benefit of the doubt that she could’ve been having a bad day. But how she conducted and disrespected my fiancé calling her out her name being nasty and trying to lie saying at first she didn’t even get that money. Was all the way out of line. Again, being that my Fiancé was STILLL GOING to tip her the over 50% until she tried to play with a persons kindness and respect. After that she disrespected my fiancé and i proceed to then lash out at her cause she tried to say I never even gave her 30$ dollars. WORST EXPERIENCE...
