This has always been my kroger but I am really going to consider using the other douglasville store on ridge road which is close to work. The reason why is because ive had the same problem with my last 2 clicklist orders. I won't go into detail here, but honestly there’s no use of good ol common sense with the orders. By the time I have to drive back, go into the store to deal with the problem, or explain it 3 times, it defeats the purpose of using clicklist at all.
My most recent click list order from around 8/1/2020 was an order pick up from 8-9am. I was called early that morning and asked to come at 9 because I had a “pretty big order.” I always spend $200 plus on every grocery trip so that’s accurate. I arrive at 9. I was already irritated bc all the clicklist parking spots are taken but there were at least 3 empty cars meaning people parked there and went inside the store to shop. I call and am on hold just to let them know I’m there, until 9:15. I was told I was just waiting for my deli meat to be sliced then my order would be out. Well by 10am I’m calling back and explain to a manager that I am really unhappy. I ended up with store credit which is nice and all but the amount of time spent waiting I could have done my own shopping. Again just an irritating situation if the end result is poor. What was sad was by the time the lady brought my food and she hands me the paper they always print off she was unable to explain to me the form. So I have no idea if I’ve been given substitutions or what. She has no idea and her solution is to check the bags. I’m sorry but I’d prefer you not have your hands all over my groceries. Then.... a young lady comes out with my deli cheese. If I hadn’t spent extra time talking to her and trying to understand the contents of my order I surely would have driven off without my cheese. I will not be ordering from clucklist here ever again.
My most recent in store trip around 8/15/20 there are no carts and I had to go all the way back into the parking lot for a cart. Then by the time i get to checkout there’s 1 very long line. So why as a customer do I have to ask you to send someone t get carts from the parking lot and why do I have to hunt down an employee to ask them to open up a register?????? These problems don’t seem to occur at the other Dville Kroger stores, hey 5, chapel hill and ridge rd are all so...
Read moreReally bad service from the checkers, and Lord customer service PEOPLE think they own the place. All I have to say is that if it wasn't for me and people like me. NONE OF YOU guys would have a Job. It's many of other store's I could have gone to. Both of these store's Fairburn road and high way 5.. it really start's with management.. letting workers do what ever they want to. Like 15 items or less Express Lane, Why should we have to stay in the store all day even if you have 20 items? If the checkers are not doing anything they should help get the Customers out of the store.. Just standing there getting paid for nothing..And they now SALE bad meat's, common sense should tell you if you see meat that's not in a cool place, don't take it back and put it up again for resale. This has happened twice in one week with me at this store. And the manager Mr. Allen let his workers get away with anything. He was on Hwy 5 now he's on Hospital Dr. Oh Lord. Then I see Mr. Lewis from Thornton Rd store! And he's about the same as Mr. Allen. They both will work their Butts off in the store. But need to have a little Back Bone when it comes to the worker's. Now the Kroger on metropolitan street the Manager and his workers are so nasty and disrespectful to the customers until it's not funny. I'm about to give up on going to any Kroger store's altogether. Now Publix may cause a little more, but it's well worth it. Fresh meat, milk, and vegetables. All around GREAT place to shop. But not for you med. Ms. Red head has a bad attitude. Now this Publix store is on Hwy5...
Read moreIf you enjoy the Kroger Deli, NEVER go to this location! What an unloved Kroger! I went inside the store today and the deli was closed at 5:30pm! I’m surprised I took this long to write a review because their deli is never open until the time they are supposed to and this deli NEVER have a good variety of hot foods nor does this deli carry Boars Head already packaged to help customers who can never use their always closed deli! And never forget that this neglected Kroger location is within a few miles of another well stocked Kroger whose deli is always available. It just happens to be in the area where there are LESS minorities in the county. This is the “reject” Kroger. Why should I drive past Kroger to go to another Kroger? I’ll go straight to Publix! Kroger keeps convincing me to spend more and be satisfied at Publix! Oh, and the cutting utensils aren’t even top tier! Or the people who slice your deli meats aren’t trained well AND your deli equipment is mediocre at best!!! In order to compete with Publix, Kroger must improve their overall standards at ALL locations. Stop redlining the upper quality grocery, produce and deli to the white communities! We all deserve good food! Dang!!! Sick of it!! I’ve never been in a...
