J & T Tires and Brakes — Local services in Douglasville

This place came highly recommended for auto Care.. I needed brakes and rotors for my car... They are very reasonably priced.. I was in and out within 1 hour.. Go check them out... I need to slam on this J&T tire... After I got my car done, I took my son's truck to have front rotors and brakes... They did the job. I paid $388 dollars for this to be done... The owner of the place, I believe was Jimmy . He drove my son's truck to me and said thank you... I got in my son's truck and proceeded to drive away... When I got to the end of the parking lot, I had to stop.. I pushed the brakes so hard.. I felt something was wrong... I just thought they didn't bleed the brakes.. So I continued to drive home... The more I drove, the more the pumping I had to do.. I finally reached home.. Shaken up and trembling.. I ask my roommate to drive the truck and see what he thought... We went for a short drive.. He was livid that J & T tire sent me home with no brakes... We went back the next day to ask what was going on... They took the truck back and within minutes they told us my son's truck had a broken Caliper... They broke it when they did the brakes and rotors the day before.. My roommate said fix it.. The owner then told us we would have to pay for the part.. My roommate said he would pay it.. They fixed it.. I'm here to tell you they broke it and refused to admit to it.. I'm like no but hell no.. They put me in a truck knowing I had no brakes and I could of died that day... If they do anything to your vehicle they said if there are other problems they won't tell you.. So if you wanna live, please don't take your vehicle to this place.. My life matters and this man could care less about you after you leave the parking lot... How many peoples lives has he put in danger? I'm urging you please think about before you take your vehicle to this man.. You, your families lives matter... Thank you for...

Because of the way this man just spoke to me on the phone about tires I NEVER ASKED HIM TO ORDER I would NEVER deal with him. I called for a quote a little over a week ago for my 2 cars, he gave me a price-never mentioned that he would have to order them. He called me 3 different times to see if I was coming up there to get my tires done-the amount quoted was over $700 and I had full intention of buying from him until I went to treaddepot and bought all 8 tires for under $400. I had PLANNED on having JT install them for me until he called just now and told me 'that's a hell of a Christmas present! Now I'm stuck with 2 sets of tires! Just lose my number, please!!!' and then hung up on me. Um, what kind of customer relations is THAT? I never asked you to order tires you didn't have in stock, you never mentioned it would be a special order, if you aren't turning business fast enough to sell 2 sets of VERY COMMONLY USED TIRES then maybe you should check how you are dealing with your people?!?! Poor customer relations is a VERY BAD way to advertise and I WILL be...

I would give less stars if possible! J&T tire replaced my brakes on my vehicle. I was very happy with the price, but as soon as I left I got onto the interstate and my entire hood flew up! They had NOT shut it. I am a pregnant, single mom and had my babies with me. I called Jimmy immediately. He reassured me he would fix it and offered me a percentage off of another service. I said not a problem I just want my hood fixed. He agreed to fix it that Monday (it was a Sat. & they were about to close) so I totally understood. I showed up Monday and he wasnt there. An employee called him & he told me he would call me when he ordered the parts and they were in. He eventually called me back and said he spoke to his "advisors" and I would have to call a lawyer. This is NOT the way you treat anyone. This incident could've ended ALOT worse while on the interstate. He didn't care. So PLEASE (if you use J&T) CHECK YOUR HOOD WHEN YOU LEAVE! IT COULD SAVE...
