The customer service at this location and Xfinity in general is the worst I've ever encountered. The employees' lack of knowledge and common sense is at an all-time high. This is including managers. Talking to managers there is like talking to a wall. All of them are completely clueless. There are basically a bunch of kids running this place. It's like doing business with kindergartens. Then they wonder why customers are upset. Who the heck do you have running your stores, Xfinity / Comcast? I am disgusted with the service there! I thought AT&T was a pain in the butt well apparently Xfinity is ten times worse. I placed my internet and cable package order with Jordan thirty days ago. It's been nothing but a nightmare so far. He told me one thing to get my business but then once I placed my order it's been nothing but lies after lies after lies. Then I got my bill and it's double the amount he quoted me. When I placed my order, he gave me his work cell number so I could contact him should I have any issues. Five times over the last thirty days, I've tried contacting him and he hasn't responded to any of my messages. He's supposed to be the assistant manager. Three times I went back to the store and he wasn't there. Then one of the managers told an employee to schedule me for a follow-up call with Jordan and he never called. There's just been one problem after another and nothing gets resolved. When I attempted to call Xfinity customer service, it took forever to get past the computer. Then once I finally got a live person they weren't any better than the store reps. I do NOT recommend any of the Xifinity / Comcast services. I was very upset with an issue and was ready to shut down my account with Xfinity! Shaun engaged me as soon as my girlfriend and I walked into the store, was ready and willing to help me immediately. He was just finishing up with another customer, came over a few minutes later, and took care of my issue which wasn't a quick fix. He explained to me what was needed to address my needs with accounts department and even dialed customer support for me to push the process along. My issue was resolved a short time after that. While helping me, he still found time to greet other customers that just arrived into the business.
Shaun is the embodiment of what true customer service should represent. He was: friendly, had a smile on his face, knowledgeable, eager to help, outgoing in his service to solve the issues, sociable with a substantive conversation, honest and truly wanted to make our experience there a happy one. I felt at ease the entire time, I wasnât pushed to purchase more than what I needed. He was polite to my girlfriend and shared some great similarities since they are both from Queens, NY. Again, we only found this out because he was so engaging with us with a great conversation.
I hope Mr. Xfinity sees this review and understands that they have a great employee working for them who is actually trying to keep customers happy with the business; had it not been for Shaun, I was about to walk out and go with another provider due to my frustration. They run ads saying you can get their service at a certain price, yet when you go in to sign up, the cost is double what they advertise. I am writing about their complete lack of burying their cables once someone does get service. My neighbor got Xfinity on the 9th of July. They laid cable across my yard (almost 200 feet). She was told they would return in 3 days to bury the cable. Here we are on August 24th and the cable still hasn't been buried. I can't cut my grass because of the cable on top of the ground. My neighborhood has orange cables everywhere. I'm going to mow over the cable if it's not buried by tomorrow and they can come out and repair another line! I'm so sick of these companies that lie and have such sorry customer service!! I've also noticed the only reviews this company responds to are the 5 star reviews, no response to the folks having issues. EDIT: I tried the "link" sent to me on the reply.
