I started training at MAR when they first opened over a year ago. I walked in with a bum shoulder and back issues. Within a couple months of attending their semi-private sessions and movement class, both of my physical issues were resolved. My body got stronger and more resilient due to their programming and with their guidance on the best way to move and teaching me how to listen to my body. The owners and coaches are extremely knowledgeable.
The Strength sessions are programmed exceptionally well to work all the muscle groups over a week and progress from one week to the next. Unlike most gyms, the MAR coaches take great care to know your injury history and any limitations, so they can provide modifications to fit your individual needs.
Due to the pandemic, I don't feel safe in many public places, but I do feel safe at MAR. They have personal pod areas for each member with individual equipment needed for the session. This limits the risk of contamination from one person to another. In addition, everything is thoroughly cleaned between uses as well.
I've trained at many gyms, both big and small. MAR has the most knowledgeable, caring and encouraging coaches. Whether you love to train and work out or you force yourself to do it for health reasons, you will enjoy going to MAR for the motivating coaches and members.
MAR also offers virtual classes which are just as well thought out and conducted as the in-person sessions.
