Ive had my membership here for a month or two now. The prices are affordable, there is a sign up fee but it’s not to expensive compared to other gyms I’ve looked into. There’s no annual fee, which I love! The workers are very friendly and helpful. There are personal trainers here, they’re all really nice. I’ve never worked out with a trainer but I’ve spoke to them a couple times. They come free with one of the all access memberships. Most of the machines work great and there’s a decent variety. Some of the machines don’t work right or work at all, but body works keeps up maintenance for the most part. Besides the cardio equipment(treadmill, stairs, elliptical etc) there’s only 1 of each machine. This is the down side to a smaller gym. So when the gym gets packed I’ll have to wait sometimes to use certain equipment. Another down side to a small gym is that there is only 2 showers in the girls restroom. I usually go to the gym in the mornings when the gym is not to crowded so I don’t have to wait to long or at all for a shower. As the day goes on and especially after school it gets really crowded and there’s lines for everything. The gym does include one tanning bed which cost extra unless you have an all access membership. Not sure what level bed it is but it’s nice and the room is very private. When the gym is crowded there is a line. Overall it’s a nice place, workers are friendly, the machines have a good variety, just pick your...
Read moreI just realized I only gave a star rating and not an actual review. And if any business deserves my praise, it's Body Works Gym. They have literally changed my life. Justin has helped me lose 40lbs after having my third baby, but it's so much more than that. I have gained confidence in myself. I've learned to trust myself and push myself to try hard things. I've now picked up trail running and am about to run my first marathon this weekend.
The best part of Body Works is the support. Justin provides FREE!!!! personal training for all members of the gym. This allows you to not have to think about what you're going to do at the gym, get immediate results, and protects you from injury because they're there to help you with form and picking the right weight.
Justin, Ashli, and the entire Body Works Family have been pivotal in changing my life for the better. I've never seen such an amazing and unique gym. It's so much more than just a gym--they're my community, my friends, my family. The boot camp is on my calendar and is a commitment that I've made to myself. For me, that class has been pivotal in my transformation. It gives me a chance to be with my community, Justin pushes us to work harder / dig deeper in boot camp and throughout the week. He's always willing to answer questions.

Read moreFirst time at this gym and I went in with high hopes of fun energy. You pay $25.start up fee and your first month fee of $15. and you also have to agree to pay a $10.fee annually to help them keep THERE EQUIPMENT WORKING.That is for there basic membership. Why I didn't like the gym???First the locker room was very dirty. Two bathrooms and one with no tp and it was dirty. I had to go to 3 different treadmills because each one had a problem (example)didn't incline, skip, and 3rd one died after 15min. At this gym they have a ROOM for day care but this day I guess it was let them (kids)run, scream wild all over the place. They had swords, gym equipment it was a mess.I LOVE KIDS but I like to go to the gym an escape the stress of my day.I wasn't the only one that thought the kids didn't need to be running wild.Bad part is an I could be wrong I think they were the owner an her kids. It was my first visit I hope an pray my second visit is 100%better an I will update my review.I wish they would put a PLANET FITNESS IN DRY RIDGE!!If you read this far do you...
