Like our local chain restaurant. Their classic soup/salad/bread sticks are super. Cold yesterday - had the Pasta e Fagioli soup...nice. Could have been a little warmer--but it is all you can eat! Always fresh salad greens, you can ask for extra olives or peppers if you like==so that way you can have salad to your preference too! I tried the Chicken Piccata lunch special--upon serving thought was a small portion, but with the soup & shared husband's salad & bread sticks; and the 3 zucchini "slabs"--was perfect amount for lunch for me! Very tasty--makes me want to make that at home...now checking out recipes!! Husband had the meatball "pie" lunch special--he liked it, wasn't my cup of tea, he said it had good flavor. Very nice lunch stop for us maybe every six weeks or so when we are in town. Stop by the next time you are in Dubuque!

To start I've always enjoyed olive garden and as long as it took me to place an online pick up order for my birthday dinner it wasn't worth it. I spent a good 40 minutes trying to place my order to be told repeatedly to fill in the missing fields, which wouldn't let me so I made a whole new account which then told me they weren't accepting online payments. Whatever, we paid at pick up. What really gets me is I paid over $8 for a gallon of tea, I expect to get said gallon not 3 quarts (barely).

I thought the food was OK, but this restaurant could use some customer service training. My waitress did not explain any of the menu specials nor offered us the wine as it is customary at other Olive Garden locations. My visit here felt a bit underwhelming, and it felt more Fazoli's than what I have experienced at similar restaurants. Thankfully I stopped here while traveling through the area so the whole experience will soon be a memory blur. AP Score: Pass

My son's steak came out barely warm and cooked, even though he asked 4 it 2 B well done. Instead of just heating it back up and leaving him eat his noodles alfredo as they did so, they took his whole plate...THREW ALL THE FOOD AWAY,and cooked him his whole meal over again!!! So by the time it came back out, my husband and I were finished with our meals!! On MOTHER'S DAY!! I had shrimp and Scallops. The shrimp was good...but over cooked and tough. The Scallops were atrocious. They too were tough and had a very off putting taste. Very strong seafoody taste. We had a hard time getting refills on our drinks...Lemonades and a Dr. Pepper. And neither my husband's nor my Lemonade were any where the same colors. One was always lacking in flavor while the other one was smack on and delicious. Same went for our breadstix. Not to mention that several of our breadstix were HARD AND CHEWY...either old or over cooked big time. The salads and soups were excellent. We got 2 desserts 2 take home. Tiramasu and their version of Strawberry shortcake. The tiramasu was a literal mes. Apparently someone had a hard time getting it out of the original container and in to the to go box. It was an epic disaster. And the Strawberry cake WOULD HAVE BEEN EXCELLENT AND A CROWNING GLORY TO AN OTHERWISE ABYSMAL EXPERIENCE AND DINNER...IF WE WOULD HAVE GOTTEN MORE THAN THREE SMALL CUT UP PIECES OF STRAWBERRIES IN A ITTY BITTY TINY TO GO CONTAINER/CUP. It was a 2 Oz size container that literally had 3 small pieces of Strawberries and no juice or sauce like in their picture or description. It was an EPIC FAILURE of a Mother's Day meal. And we got there fairly early.. 4:30 give or take a few minutes. I used their plan ahead waiting list feature. First time in a long time that I had this bad of an experience at Olive Garden. And we eat there at least...

The wait time for 1 diner was a bit ridiculous, I had to ask if I could sit in the bar and sadly as busy as it was to have an open table not being used šŸ˜• nearly blew my top. Initially my server who was the bartender was a bit rude and took too long to acknowledge or greet me which made me wonder was skin tone too dark or did she think I was too young as everyone in there was drinking except me. When I finally ordered she only allowed me to put a drink order in though I had enough time to decide on an appetizer and main course then she had the audacity to sit my bill in front of me before my food even made it to the table... I should of been insulted but instead I pity her as I recognized the misery so many others seem to be gripped by. The service was not very desirable, the greeting/staging was a mess yet the food was good and I was in need of a decent meal after being over the road for a few weeks and lacking decent food at the...

Have not eaten here in a long time.First time at this location in Dubuque Iowa. Meal was delicious! But for some unknown reason they've become very selfish with their bread! Highly recommend the new Garlic Mussels Marinara.... only negative is it comes out with only 2 small pcs of the garlic parmesan toast, def not enough for size of dish, ask for extra. Zuppa soup was delicious. Salad is legendary. Dinner meals were good. Classic Lasagna, Shrimp Scampi with asparagus, tomato, and angel hair pasta, and the Grilled Salmon with broccoli. But, again they reluctantly part with additional breadsticks. When we asked for more, she said no problem but then wanted to take away our 'cold' ones?! And forget about any Extra Breadsticks sent home with leftovers. I remember when they included a couple of fresh breadsticks for your leftovers. Maybe it varies by location. Or maybe there's a new breadstick law and each table has a...
