I visited this store looking for cosmetics and Japanese food: they have an impressive selection of the former and a somewhat disappointing selection of the latter.
There were many brands of makeup: a wide selection of Canmake products (including lots of nail polish), as well as some items from Dasique, 3CE, and Flower Knows (along with other brands I didnโt know/recognize); there were many choices of eyeliner and mascara from Isehan and other brands. The Japanese sunscreen selection was good, but they didnโt have the one I was looking for (Kiss Me Mommy by Isehan); they did have several Biore sunscreens, the Skin Aqua tone-up (color correcting (?)) ones, along with some Anessa sunscreens. There were lots of hair products (shampoo, treatment, oil, etc) beauty tools (sponges, hair rollers, clips, etc.), bath products, facial cotton, etc. They had many hand creams and perfumes from the brand Ohana Mahaalo, which was a pleasant surprise. There were also a few Fiancรฉe products (hand cream, gel fragrance, nail oil, and a spray or two). Again, a very respectable selection of Japanese drugstore cosmetics, sunscreen, hair products, fragrances, etc. Prices were about what Iโd expect at a brick-and-mortar store carrying these items: not super overpriced but the โconvenienceโ markup is there.
However, when it comes to actual Japanese food (I was looking for a specific type/brand of shiso-konbu furikake and big multipack of instant miso soup), they did not have much besides candy and snacks (chips, cookies, etc.). They had a pretty good selection of snacks, sweets, and drinks, from not just Japan but other places as well, but I was pretty bummed at the small selection of โrealโ food. The instant coffee was also overpriced- I found the same one that I bought (the 90g jar of UCC The Blend no.117) for four dollars less at the GW Market not far from this store. However, they had a decent selection of Cafรฉ Latory products, more than I found at H Mart.
They also had a small stationery section with Daiso-esque Sanrio products as well as some household items, but these all seemed a bit overpriced to me.
TL;DR: If youโre looking for Japanese (and to a lesser extent Korean) drugstore cosmetics and other beauty products, Iโd recommend this place. If youโre looking for sweets and snacks, there wasnโt anything super unique you couldnโt find at other stores, but the selection here is good. If youโre looking for actual Japanese food/groceries, Iโd go elsewhere. (I canโt speak about the crane games and blind boxes because I didnโt look at...
