So here’s the thing, there are about a million tea shops around these days, all promising boba happiness, fruity refreshment, or creamy dessert-in-a-cup vibes. But my parents and I decided to give For Good Tea a shot instead of just sticking to our usual spots. Why? Because sometimes you gotta risk it for the milk-Boba tea.
Mom ordered the For Good Tiramisu, I went for the For Good Almighty Tea (because if a drink calls itself “almighty,” I feel like it should come with a cape and heroic theme music), and Dad came along as the official “taste tester”.
Now, we both ordered our drinks with no added sugar. Usually, that’s a gamble. Some tea shops without sugar = bland sadness in a cup. But here? Nope—both drinks actually tasted really good! Mom’s tiramisu was creamy and dessert-like, while my Almighty Tea was bold and refreshing, still packing flavor without needing sugar to do all the heavy lifting. Even Dad gave the nod of approval, and he usually just sticks to black coffee and water.
The total for two drinks came to \$23.75. Not terrible for 2025 tea shop prices, but definitely more than what the grandparents used to pay when tea was, you know, just tea.
Here’s the quirky part: ordering is all done on a self-service kiosk. Which is great if you like clicking buttons, customizing ice levels like you’re coding a rocket launch, or avoiding small talk. But here’s the downside: you can’t ask questions. Like, I wanted to know if they do a military discount, but guess what? The kiosk wasn’t about to salute me back. Nope. Just cold, unblinking “touch screen” energy. So yeah, that kinda sucked for me. Efficiency: 10/10. Human interaction: 2/10.
The guy making the drinks looked super busy and not especially cheerful at first. But once he handed us our drinks, he actually cracked a smile—maybe because he survived another rush of kiosk orders. To be fair, he made the drinks fast and correctly, so no complaints there.
The shop itself is clean, modern, and sleek. Definitely not the cozy “sit and gossip for hours” kind of place—more like “order your tea, snap a pic for Instagram, and keep it moving.” But hey, sometimes that’s exactly what you want.
Overall: For Good Tea is worth a try, even with so many competitors nearby. Drinks taste great (even with no sugar), the place runs efficiently, and it’s a solid spot for treating yourself. Just don’t expect the kiosk to answer your life questions or hook you up with a military discount. Maybe next time I’ll be brave enough to actually ask a human instead of relying...
Read moreThe Best Bubble Tea in Atlanta! A Must-Visit!
I first discovered For Good Tea (Nai He Tang) 3 years ago, and ever since, it has been a must-visit every time I’m in Atlanta. Even though I live in Nashville, I make sure to stop by and order 8-10 cups each visit—it’s that good! (Who discover freezer!)
As a senior food development scientist, I can recognize when a shop truly invests time in developing recipes and sourcing top-tier ingredients—and For Good Tea does exactly that. The level of care, innovation, and craftsmanship here is exceptionally rare in the bubble tea industry.
Why For Good Tea is the Best in Atlanta
-Premium tea selection – The owner tested over 50 tea varieties before selecting the perfect blend, ensuring a deep, aromatic, and well-balanced flavor. From what I know, he spend whole 2 weeks in last summer traveled around world and looked for the best match. -Masterfully crafted drinks – Every tea is shaken to perfection, ensuring a smooth, well-balanced taste with no bitterness. -Uncompromising quality. OMG this is my favorite part especially I started my career as a quality assurance guy! Every ingredient and process reflects a dedication and passion that’s rarely seen in the industry. The kitchen area is super clean and organized. -Fair pricing for premium quality .Honestly, with this level of care and top-tier ingredients, I still don’t understand how they keep prices so reasonable!
My Top Pick – Classic Pearl Milk Tea
This is the ultimate test for any bubble tea shop, and For Good Tea nails it. The tea is rich, complex, and silky smooth, the milk is perfectly blended, and the handmade pearls take it to another level—bouncy, flavorful, and unlike anything you’d get from commercial brands.
There are variety of choices and please try and define your own favorite! They always have some seasonal special and make sure ask owner so that you know-secret menu
If you’re in Atlanta and love bubble tea, For Good Tea is an absolute MUST-VISIT. This isn’t just a tea shop—it’s a place where true passion and craftsmanship shine in every cup. I can’t wait to return and see what new creations they come up with!

Read moreI stopped here with my adult son for some Boba tea. We have tried many other boba tea spots but had not been here, so it was fun to try something that we hadn't had before. Being an older retired lady, I consider myself young at heart and not afraid or intimidated to try new things. I have to say that I'm not a fan of the ordering kiosk when I'm not familiar with the menu items. There were very brief descriptions for each item but I needed more info to make my decision plus I had questions about the menu concerning gluten free options. Not having been here before it was also difficult to choose the ice amount and sugar amount. The man behind the counter was busy making multiple teas so we waited to ask him our questions. He answered to the best of his ability and I felt like I understood him well enough but still I had more questions. I decided to just order and take my chances. I ordered the lemon milk tea with boba and my so got the "good almighty". The teas were very tasty and we enjoyed them. My sons tea was larger than mine and had a thick cream stuff on top and the man behind the counter gave me a spoon and told me he should eat the top part, then drink the tea. So it was fun and different from just plain boba. I did feel like the prices were a bit high, higher then other boba places in our area. We didn't mind too much because we only treat ourselves once in a while, but to be honest I was a little surprised at the price. Anyway this is a good place...
