It has about every type of Russell Stover's candy. There is seasonal candies as well. I went during the fall and they had caramel apples and Halloween candy. In the back of the store was also Christmas and Easter candy as well. They also sold fudge and some higher end chocolates as well as icecream. The shop was well light and nice. The candy I bought was really good and tasty.
The store kind of gave me more of a dollar general store vibes and less of a chocolate store vibes. I dont know there was nothing overly bad about the store or anything just I have been to other candy and chocolate stores and this place didnt have that feel and definitely didnt have the feel of what I though a Russell Stovers store would be like.
The lady who was working that day was really nice and friendly. She was the only worker I saw and was quick to help anyone that needed help, answering questions and helping customers locate items.
Will I come back, probably, but nothing about the place stood out, like if I want chocolate I can find a better store elsewhere. It just is very middle...
Read moreWe stopped at the RS store in Dundee, MI on Friday July 4th. We have been stopping at that store on our way thru the area for 20 or so years...maybe more, not sure how long that location has been open. Anyways, we thought the store looked very different as at least a third or more of the shelves were totally empty...never been there when it looked like this. So we only ended up purchasing 2 of the heart shaped red velvet chocolates. This evening I got one out for a snack and happened to look at the "Best Before" date. It said "P0493 01 Jun 24". I was shocked and disappointed that the store was selling something that was 13 months past the best before date! I called that store just a bit ago and was told by the Amy, the manager, that they know what the dates are and have been instructed to put them on the shelf for sale anyways. Amy suggested that the only option was to contact the company via the website which is did. Very disappointed...we will look elsewhere to chocolate in the future if this is the type of product that RS will be...

Something happened to the negative here !
Store is much cleaner. More organized and well stocked. Problem is prices are ABSURD ! $2.00 FOR A PAST EASTER chocolate covered marshmallow. NOPE. . $24 a pound for the little bags of make your own assortment. NOPE.
New owners ? What gives. I saw prices in there that made me tingle with shock ! What was a cool place to grab some snacks turned into embarrassing walking out the door in disbelief.
I have a feeling the shelves are stocked because no one is buying. Just me. . .
Original review: always enjoy a stop here when going to Cabela's. Upon entering you are greeted. The smells are awesome.
Deals have to be searched out. But they are definitely there. We always walk out with a box or a bag of goodies.
Never tried the ice cream of fudge. They are constantly making fudge when we arrive. Maybe one day. :)
Always enjoy the girl working there. She is always polite...
