A surprisingly large establishment, they have a number of outlets in the area. We've been to 40+ wineries across the country, and without a doubt they have the largest assortment of both wines and spirits. Their tasting menu was well laid out and separated into a number of categories. More than a few wineries rush you thru a tasting, but not so here. My wife and I each tested 6 different wines, and we like 10 out of 12. They had the first 'cream wines' that we've ever seen... Yes, we got a bottle of it... We ended up with 4 bottles. The ONLY thing they could do better would be to serve water and crackers or small segments of bread as a standard procedure with tastings. They do have some cream liquors which were tasty as well .. they get a 9/10, just about the best we've been to...

We had so much fun!! We even purchased one of the wines we loved. When we arrived we made choices on a detailed menu selection. We are looking forward to coming back in two weeks. Everyone who worked there was welcoming, kind, happy, knowledgeable, and helpful. It's so much fun to enjoy tasting at Saint Julian Winery. Just went back again yesterday and it was so much fun. We're a member of the wine club so each of us got free six samples. Jen was wonderful and made it easy for us to do the tastings. This time we seem to like everything and wound up leaving with 17 bottles. Lol

I live in Michigan and recycle. I decided to recycle the wine bottle in the picture from Saint Julian, but then I realized that there was a metal band below the screw on cap that was practically impossible to remove. I am almost injured myself during the process and didn’t even finish. After 10 minutes, I gave up and decided I will never buy another bottle from this company if it has this on it. Don’t care if we can recycle do the recycling people even want bottles with metal wrapped around them. I don’t think so. Please save your customers this grief.

I used to love going here with family and friends. Recently, I came here with friends and had a terrible experience. It states online that 45 minute time limit will be enforced IF the winery is busy. We were there for 45 minutes and since there was NO wait and the bartender continued to take our order, we assumed it was fine we stayed and continued to spend money.

Suddenly, we were asked to keep our voices down (I guess no laughing allowed) and the staff rudely pointed out how we stayed long after our 45 minute time limit. No one was waiting! There were 2 completely open tables! The 45 minute time limit suddenly became about keeping staff and customers safe and not about accommodating as many customers as possible.

Customer service was awful upon entering and just continued to get worse. What a shame. Whoever previously owned this place did an excellent job. It has fallen apart now and my friends and I...

My sister and I went there for the wine tasting. It costs $7 for 6 tastings. When you get there you are handed a list of all of their wines grouped by red, white, rose, sparkling and spirits. You walk thru the store and pick 6 of your favorites then you bring it back to the counter for your tasting. I must admit I had a blast while doing this. We had an exceptional attendant.. Based on the receipt his name was Donnie. He was very knowledgeable and very outgoing. Not only do they have wines but also condiment tasting and samples in the store. According to Donnie they are starting an outdoor seating area in the evenings that will showcase local musicians. They have a brochure that outlines their activities for the month. So.... if your looking for something unique to do... I suggest stopping in at St. Julian's winery in Dundee for a...

Used to love frequenting St J’s. I love the wine, and most everyone working is nice and attentive to guests. I had friends come in from out of town and wanted them to check out the winery. They, and I, were greatly disappointed. The host and servers were extremely rude. We walked in and we were greeted by an abrupt “what do you want”. The server then came over to us at the table and said “do you know what you want yet”. That is not the way you speak to guests. We shrugged it off, maybe they were having a bad day. Also, I understand that we have a time limit, but if there is nobody else there, why is that a thing? You kicked out paying customers. I will not be going back anytime soon. They must have had a staff or management change because it has been an awful experience the last couple of times I...
