The cleanliness of the room was not very good. Beds were comfortable enough but 3 pillows per Queen bed was not enough. We had a hallway air freshener outside our door that beeped non stop for 2 days and 1 night. I asked for it to be fixed. I was told it was a airfeshner unit and they were out of it and so the beeping noise would have to be tolerated until they got the refills in.
My husband stays at this hotel branch monthly for work. The breakfast was awful! They did not replenish as food was empty. Stayed for 3 breakfast days and did not get meat or eggs any of the time we were there and this was 7 am.and earlier each day. They didn't make oatmeal it was raw oats in a container and no water or milk to make it. The fruit was not fresh; old apples and oranges. No bananas. There were a handful of mini muffins and few other non appealing breads to choose from. My husband works for the government and this is his hotel of choice when he travels. We were traveling through from picking up our Daughter who just graduated from MIT in Cambridge MA who was diagnosed with cancer and we were transferred to Ann Arbor MI for her chemotherapy treatments. We got back to MI early and my husband wanted to stay with this hotel until her chemotherapy session and 2 days after it. The hotel seemed very under staffed and no one was happy. Saw one room being cleaned with the maid with the door open laying across the bed on her phone. We did have one night desk clerk who was genuinely friendly the 2nd night of our stay. My husband planned on using this hotel for our bi weekly chemo treatments because he though it would be easier on us to stay here instead of staying in Ann Arbor. We are not very picky people but this was not a good experience...
I paid 15000 points to stay at a hotel that isn't worth 8000 points. It is getting tired and needs a reno update. The first room we were given was a handycap room with 2 queen beds which we had booked. One bed was fresh, clean and well made and tucked in. The other bed had a slightly discoloured and very lumpy duvet that wasn't tucked in, was rumpled and looked like the bed could have already been slept in. The desk person looked at the pictures I took, looked up the room and said her records showed it had been made. After my wife refused to accept the room we were placed in a handycap king suite on the second floor. Neither TV was programmed for cable so desk clerk had to come up and program them. One of the remotes had food stuck to the keypad area. The sofa had food crumbs under the cushions. The window in the hall outside our room had a dilapitated shear curtain that had several tears in it. I suggested to 2 staff that they take the shear off and just leave the curtain as it made the hotel look like a two bit dive. The breakfast was sparce and the eggs and grits were lookwarm. There was no yogurt even though it was listed on the fridge door. The breads were not fresh. No bananas, just apples and oranges. We stayed in this hotel last spring on our way home from Florida and did not remember having any issues that year. I feel I got ripped off being charged 15,000 points for this hotel. There is no way on earth this is a 15000 point hoitel. We stayed in a Comfort Inns and Suites in Cordele, GA on Apr. 3rd for 15000 points and was exactly what we expected for that amount (clean, up to date and ample breakfast). I am asking you to rebate at least half of the 15000 points I paid...
Read moreFirst room was hot and frig had a button to stay on up to 8 hours? We stayed 5 nights. There would be no way to run back to room just to hit the stay on button. Awful thinking putting those type of "beverage" refrigerators in. They moved us to second room. It was much cooler (since windows did open) the small frig was great. The bathroom door handle was broken and the water cold. Maintenance fixed water. It was good, The shower head was awful. Needs replaced. Having front desk person also do the breakfast area is terrible. Food was awful, choices were terrible, coffee ran out and a "tip jar" was on counter? Tacky. We asked for coffee packets for room and was told there wasn't any. We asked the night person on Tuesday night and she was able to give us 2. We stay here at least once or twice a year for 3-5 days each time. This experience was the worse by far. On Saturday night there were 13 9-12 year old in the pool area doing everything the sign said not to. There were 3 adults. Front desk was told but nothing was done. Kids running the hallways past 10:30pm. A complete free for all. Very disappointed this stay. We may rethink staying somewhere else to have a cleaner, friendlier worth the extra money stay. I hope someone can clean up the attitudes, breakfast food, and employees taking responsibility for the patrons if for nothing else then safety reasons. The employees should also be required to "stay out" of the backroom area unless retrieving something for someone. We found most times day or night they were always back there. Unless they are also required to fold laundry on top of counter and phone duties AND the breakfast area. Do better for patrons...
