We recently replaced our top of the line extra firm Stearns and Foster mattress. We had the previous one for around 10 years and it was great for about the first 7 years and wearing out for the next 3 years. The one we replaced it with started to sag after about 11 months and it is no longer extra firm. I went back to Havertys about it and they said they would do nothing for me and cannot honor the 10-year warranty because it does not sag enough. This is a $4,000 mattress and it ought not to need a board under it to make it feel firmer after 11 months. They sent a technician out to measure how much it sagged and although it is not extra firm when we lie on it, it only sags a half inch and they want it to sag 1 and 1/2 in. By the time the problem is three times as bad, the mattress will be completely unusable and so I do not feel they are offering this warranty in good faith. I complained about this to Tempur Sealy who made the mattress and they absolved themselves of any responsibility and put it all right back on Havertys. So beware Havertys will not take care of you at all if their products do not perform correctly and neither will their vendor. The 10-year warranty...
Read moreThe cashier at this location, Cynthia, demonstrated a callous deference to any kind of hospitality when she proceeded to make fun of my father’s handwriting when he presented her with a check. Both of my parents are in their 60s and my father is very hard of hearing, making the situation even more frustrating and disappointing from a customer service perspective. As the owner of a customer-facing small business in Atlanta, I am disheartened to say the least at the lack of awareness to customer care demonstrated by Cynthia. Upon speaking to the store manager, Matthew, I was reassured that the interaction would be addressed and handled going forward, noting that the salesman, Sean, was hospitable in dealing with my parents. I will be making a note to Haverty’s corporate to emphasize the need for better awareness when dealing with customers who are a bit older and/or may not understand when insulting comments are meant as “dry humor”.
Disappointing overall, would recommend moving Cynthia to a non customer-facing position, as it seems she is detrimental to the...

During my visit, I purchased a floor model recliner, and the process was seamless. The team took great care in wrapping the chair securely before allowing me to transport it home, showcasing their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
For anyone looking for incredible savings, I highly recommend checking out their floor models. In my case, I saved more than 60% off the retail price—a tremendous value for a high-quality piece.
