the new location is SO great. more inviting space, can be difficult to park when events are happening, but its an easy to access location. More serene and the people running around (or dancing?) on the floor above the 9th st location was always very distracting to me. They offer hot tea, water etc and its a very peaceful environment with huge industrial windows. they also have mats/blankets/blocks, etc to borrow if you do not bring your own. I typically attend Shauna's sunday class at 4:30 which is super slow flow/stretch/restore, so may not be the pace for everyone. My first studio visit was to Yoga off East, and I made it my yoga home while we were in the area. With a full schedule and a variety of classes, it was easy to take time for my practice. But what I loved best was the community that practices there. I felt included and welcome at all the classes, and that is what yoga is all about for me: the community. The only downside id have to say about the studio is how small it is but I’ve gotten used to it and it doesn’t bother me because everyone that is always aware of their space and respectful. Kyle’s class on Thur afternoon is my favorite. He does a perfect blend of stretching and relaxing and then working up a sweat. I love that he usually finds a way to make us all laugh each class too, taking the stress of practice away. So happy I found this studio! I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area...
