GDC is amazing! Though very new to the studio, our experience from day one, has been nothing short of incredible! Their meticulous consideration relative to safety precautions is exceptional, ensuring that every possible measure has been taken to lessen exposure risk, inclusive of limiting class size, persons entering the physical space along with requiring hand sanitization and temperature checks upon entry. The energy exhausted to develop a comprehensive dance curriculum for toddlers that is both instructional and entertaining is beyond evident. Each week has been a fun-filled experience that keeps my daughter craving for more. I have unending gratitude for this opportunity my child has been afforded in that the studio also accommodates working parents with class offerings during the weekday, evening and weekend hours. Our family excitedly recommends Glastonbury Dance Center. It is in this space that your child will learn and hone dance skills, make positive peer connections, but more so, experience the normalcy and fun that has been sorely missed in the past year! If I could give GDC 100 stars I would! This studio is amazing. Not only do they obviously teach different types of dance, but they teach kindness, compassion, camaraderie and team work. For the first few years our daughter was only in recreational classes, as she got older and more confident, she then tried out for team, and made it! Since then, I can’t even begin to explain the difference in our daughter’s confidence! And now she’s on 4 different teams! It’s tough for our daughter since we moved out of Glastonbury over 5 years ago so she doesn’t go to school with any other girls there, but it doesn’t matter! Directors, staff and fellow students will welcome anyone with open arms. We drive a half an hour each way 3 days a week and it’s worth every drop of gas! Not to mention other events that team members get to perform at: Wolfpack games, Mets games, Glastonbury Apple Fest, and a UCONN game (new this year), just to name a few. My daughter and I absolutely love Glastonbury Dance Center! From super fun dance camps, awesome birthday parties to the incredibly convenient and experience broadening combination classes, every part of and every person at GDC has been positive, encouraging and heartwarming. There are four studios within a few minutes of our home, but because of how welcoming Miss Shari, Miss Kristy, all their teachers, helpers, dancers and parents have been, I am thrilled to make the trip out of town to GDC as long as they’ll have us! Every teacher knows all the dancers and the grown ups that belong to the dancers which is an amazing feeling. Miss Shari is very communicative, thorough, and makes it easy to help our dancers get the most out of their time. My nearly two year old will begin the parent and me class this season, and we are so excited to get him started at this age.
