Niantic Bay Playhouse — Local services in East Lyme

Went there to see a friend perform at a comedy show (John ivarone) on the (Scott Higgens Comedy Show) and it was amazing. Although I'm familiar with the area, it's my first time coming to this play house. They offer so much here at this classic playhouse, and they really look out for children and offer shows for children but also offer programs to help with talent and gives talented children and teens an opportunity to perform and showcase their talent. I recommend you coming here and bringing your family to enjoy a show, or to come with your significant other and laugh at a comedy show. I will be coming back! They are in need of theater curtains, if you are able to donate while there, please take an envelope and help out, trust me, you'll be helping a very important part of Connecticut, we need more playhouses, people don't realize just how important places like this really are!

Called because the handicap companion seat was taken. Jenny worked her magic and was able to get us handicap seating with the companion seat. We were so appreciative because we really wanted to go see The Christmas Carol. We arrived, and the theater was all decorated, we were so happy to see that the concession stand was still there for some popcorn .The popcorn was salty and buttery, yummy. They did have candy and other items to purchase. The show was outstanding. We really enjoyed ourselves, and it kicked off the holiday season with a bang. It was a little nippy inside, but grab something warm to drink, and you'll be fine. We enjoyed it so much and are looking into season tickets. We decided to get season tickets since we enjoyed the show so much. We just got to see Lend me a Tenor. It was hilarious and worth seeing. It was fantastic. Can't wait to see...

Total manipulation and abuse. I signed my child up, and the owners were nothing other than despicable. I had to excuse my kid from a single rehearsal due to Purim, and they were extremely rude. It wasn't even close to the show! We were all just so heartbroken to see that what we thought were just rumors of bad experiences were actually true. No amount of words can express how horrible of an experience this was, never...
