Got a new battery for my son's car. After checking a few places, Advance in East Petersburg had the best selection in stock, and best prices for the car battery. They had price points of $95, $130, $195, $215. Since he is driving an older car we got as a starter, we decided the $130 battery with a one year warranty was best for us. We had a very thoughtful and knowledgeable sales woman who sold it to us & also installed it for no additional charge. She also took the old battery (which SAVES $22, not sure who's paying that to keep a dead battery). Very swift transaction overall, we were on the road with the new one in less than 30 minutes. Our van decided it wouldn't start and we were right down the street from this store. We figured it was the battery. When we got to the store and explained what was happening, the gentleman at the counter said he wasn't convinced it was the battery and didn't want to sell us something we didn't need. We also showed him a picture of the battery which he noticed should still be under warranty. Conclusion: we called a towing service who determined it wasn't the battery, but another issue. Bottom line: the staff here are educated and professional....

I decided to go to Advanced Auto Parts to see why my cigarette lighter for playing music in my car was not working. I talked to the sweetest lady Jenny and she was amazing! She came out to my car and checked the fuses for me and eventually figured out I had something stuck in the port which was making it not able to play music.
