On 8/2/25, I visited this Burger King with a valid, current coupon. The assistant manager handed it back after trying multiple times to process it on the register. She was ready to give up dismiss the coupon without explanation. When I insisted it should be honored, her response was: “I cannot do anything for you because I am not going to get in trouble for stealing.” This was an unprofessional and inappropriate comment to make to a paying customer. Sharing internal or personal concerns is irrelevant and reflects poorly on the business.
What made the situation worse is that I had to be the one offering her alternative ways to honor the coupon’s value—essentially steering the assistant manager toward the correct solution. As a customer, I should not have to teach an assistant manager how to do their job or find workarounds for something that should have been handled routinely and without argument.
The food quality was equally disappointing. My Whoppers and fries were served cold, the Chicken Fries and mozzarella fries were overcooked and dry, and the overall presentation was poor. The restaurant was not busy—just a steady drive-thru flow—so there was no justifiable reason for the delays, mistakes, or lack of care.
The assistant manager appeared visibly flustered, even saying, “See, the computer keeps signing me out,” as if that explained the problems. While technical difficulties happen, they are not the customer’s responsibility, and they are certainly not an excuse for substandard service or cold food. Professional customer service means managing these challenges without shifting the burden onto customers.
This is not an isolated issue. Nearly every time I’ve visited this location, there has been some type of problem with food quality, service, or operations. Corporate has done nothing to address the ongoing concerns, and I am done giving Burger King any more chances.
If you want consistent service, properly prepared food, and staff who can handle customers with professionalism, I recommend going to the McDonald’s on Manheim Pike instead. They clearly have stronger management, better training, and a much higher standard for customer service.

Read moreThough we eat at Burger King on a moderately regular basis. We don't usually eat at this branch in East Pete. Food and cleanliness at this branch are equal to any other I have been in, but I have a consistent problem here with the way I have to order a gluten-free meal. I don't have this problem at any other branch. I request gluten-free and they punch it in as low carb and then I get a Burger with all of the lettuce, tomato, et cetera and no bun, But also no sauce. When I returned to the counter stating that I ordered only no bun, not no sauces I was told that is how they input a no bun order then I'm told the sauce is only ketchup and mayonnaise, and he hands me packets of both to add to my plate. I expected him to take it in the back and actually add the sauce. I've complained about this With them in the past when I was here several years ago, and apparently they don't do it the customer's way. This is the only branch of Burger King where I've had this problem and in the future, I will only stop here if I absolutely need something on the run and of no other...
Read moreI would give zero stars if i could. Stopped here after the ren faire around 7:45 on 9/24. We only ordered 3 of the same exact veggie burger. The lady taking the order had such an attitude because we asked for no mayo or cheese ( if i eat anything dairy i get sick). This woman literally gagged and said “ew” and gagged again and had an attitude. Im sure she heard the whole car go “did she really just do that?!?” We pull up to the window and i could see her pacing around and pretending to gag while the girl giving us our stuff laughed. Before we could say anything the the girl slammed the window quickly. I have NEVER had such horrible customer service at a fast food place. I know its just fast food…but its food. I don’t expect much out of it but i do expect a little more than someone gagging and saying ew to MY food. Her whole attitude made ME wanna gag. If you cant handle the job then go work where you don’t handle food…better yet work somewhere you don’t even have to talk...
