Very disappointed đ First impression was okay. I thought he could be helpful. Second impression, heâs Unprofessional, vulgar language and sells above retail on his Pokemon cards. Having love for Pokemon is hard nowadays. You would think that a comic book store/card store had a honest hospitable environment but not the case here. I am always trying to learn and grow. After James I thought I would learn helpful things but not what happened. Instead I was discredited on what I knew and given scalper prices because âthatâs the market priceâ .. at least thatâs what James believes Not a fan of meeting people like this. Treated me like I didnât have value to him when I came to learn and buy. Donât ever blind buy. People like James will take advantage of you and pressure you into a purchase you didnât want. Be aware and donât be afraid to ask questions. Hopefully this guy will learn to have passion for this and not $...
Read moreDo not buy pokemon packs from this store! I went and traded in cards the other day. He suspiciously had packs in a case that were not sleeved. Why? Because he is weighing the packs. Btw I donât believe this business buys cards from a reliable source. I asked where he bought the cards from and gave a vague answer. Then I noticed the sleeve packs that he did have had family dollar stickers on them. I have feeling he is buying them off from people that stole them.
When I did the trade he wouldnât trade me any more then 15 sleeved boosters. Why!? Cause he hadnât had the chance to weigh the packs yet. Long story short the packs I got in the trade we messed with. Stay away from this place FAR away from if you collect pokemon. I just screwed out of some killer singles.
Just read his lower reviews completely unprofessional
You own both stores and I dealt with your son let youâre conscious be...
Read moreI'm on the fence here but I don't think I'll be back because it's a distance from me. The store was in good order and looked nice. I brought about 7 different things in to sell. I'm well aware of the values and that I could get more if I sold them myself. It's how it was handled that turned me off. I handed one item over the counter and he literally pushed it right back at me while it was in my hand. I have to believe he didn't mean to be condescending, but it wasn't pleasant. I had a specific version of an item and he kept telling me it was something different. I know what I have and the values. I did end up selling online for what i was looking for, but it would have been convenient to sell...
