I had to try Jeff’s pizza a few months ago because I heard that they special in a sourdough base and they got a solid Barstool pizza rating. We went around 6pm and figured we could place an order at the counter and it wouldn’t take too long. They were quick when taking our pizza order and said that the kitchen was backed up, so it would take about 45 minutes for the 2 pizzas. In reality, it took a little over an hour. For me, that’s what brings this down to a 3-star rather than a 4-star review. Being so ravenous it was hard to take pictures before tearing into our pies, but I had to pause for the good people of Yelp! I would score the pizza at a 3.5. The sourdough base was fantastic, and that’s something that really sets their pizza apart from others in the area. The balsamic special was the perfect combo of sweet and savory and if I went back I would just order that it was so good. The Margherita pie is always my baseline pizza and that one didn’t really stand out to me. If I ordered again, I’d study the menu, call in advance and then drive over rather than waiting as long as we did. Though if you’re bored and have quarters the pinball machine makes for a fun distraction!

UPDATE: I need to revise my review, because Jeff's is sadly inconsistent. We've been having trouble with very burnt dough, poor quality toppings, and oddly sweet sauce. If it had just been once or even twice, I wouldn't say anything, but as it is, I think we're looking for a new pizza place. :( ORIGINAL REVIEW: Wish I could give 4.5 stars, because it's not perfect, although it comes close. The pizza is excellent. We love their caesar salad, too, although they are stingy with the croutons. (They give 9-12 croutons routinely in total on a salad meant to feed two people.) I wish they'd offer minced/sliced garlic as a topping on their pizzas; I love a garlic pizza. They do offer whole cloves of roasted garlic as a topping, but we didn't think it was nearly as good as regular garlic. Would be nice if they had in-house delivery; I don't trust those third-party delivery services. Still an excellent pizza place, though...good enough to order from weekly and drive the 35 minutes round trip.

I can't say enough about this place. What a cool hip fun pizza spot located in eastern Providence. We stopped in on a Saturday around 5:45. We were greeted by the friendly and super helpful staff. They helped make suggestions for pizzas to order. We opted for cheese, Margarita, and a buffalo chicken. While we waited, the boys played video games, arcade games, pinball and dome hockey which was a fun treat for them. Our pizzas came out and they were delicious. Cooked to perfection. A lot of crisp. Great flavors! Great sauce. I highly suggest you check this place out on your travels through Providence. You won't be disappointed. I'll be coming back for sure.

First off Covid related review part: I have gotten a few pizzas and some boneless wings from them since Covid started. I will say the experience with them has been the best one I have had with a restaurant. I feel completely safe getting a meal from there.

Food Related Part: In the last few weeks, I have gotten their food a few times, each time I have been really happy with the quality of the food and tastiness of the pizza/boneless wings.

Lets start with the wings, which i got the balsamic hot honey version. The wings were MASSIVE and incredibly flavorful. They definitely were not your regular frozen/pre-made pizza restaurant wings you see all to common. They did a great job on these and honestly could be a meal all on their own. My only recommendation is to include more dipping sauce as the amount given was only good for about half of the wings.

I've had a few different pizzas from them and all were great. The one that stands out far and above the rest was a special that they had a few weeks ago, The Smashburger pizza. This thing was great, and I was sad to hear that they didn't have another special for it left on the menu the next time I ordered pizza from Jeff's. This pizza had so many things going for it. It had raw onion, fresh house made pickles, excellently seasoned/cooked hamburger, cheese and cheese sauce. I hope that they make this a regular addition, or have it on certain nights of the week, because this was awesome!

The pizza I love from the regular menu is The Grayson. This menu Item is great, bbq chicken pizza can be hit or miss for me, but this one balances all of the toppings perfectly. I love it.

The "basic" pizzas are great too! Cheese or Cheese+Pepperoni is a nice easy...

I live right around the corner, and this was my first time trying Jeff's, it is so super good! I usually don't get to eat much pizza my husband is allergic to dairy, so that's always a factor in where we choose to go out. But right now he's traveling!

I did a takeout order for a Forager (which is a wild mushroom pizza), had it done calzone style and added ricotta and truffle oil.

The pizza is so super good. Great crust, fully loaded. The style of preparation in the wood fire means that it has a certain smokiness to it and parts of it that are really really toasty which I love! It's taken me 3 days to eat this calzone! It's super huge.

And also, I will say to the point that some people have been making about the crust on delivery and pick up being not as crispy as you'd like, I think that's a natural byproduct of the steam that's left in the pizza (esp a calzone!), and the time it spends in the box - just refresh it in the oven a little bit when you get it home. Like 5 or 10 minutes at 350° brings it right back to life. That's what I did and it was perfect.

Also, it's not super evident from their website, but they have a large sit-down area inside there as well, nice and bright, high ceilings, feels like a chill hang. They have about five or six beers on draft! Which I totally didn't know, all local beers. They also have some wine and of course sodas seltzers Etc. And from time to time they seem to make funky desserts or other special items.

A really nice addition to our East Providence neighborhood arsenal of fantastic...

I love Jeffs. You'll likely be satisfied with any of the toppings and flavors you choose. They offer some unique pizzas such as their fig and spicy pork pizzas, and the while the prices aren't Domino's cheap, it's cheaper than most other places, clocking in at $12-$14 per mediumish sized pizza. Their menu is small, offering truffle fries, chicken tenders, and a few other popular things.

I went for the spicy pork pizza, a round of truffle fries, and got to try a slice of their pepperoni. The pizza was overall great, the crust was a bit different (in a good way) compared to other places, it was semi-thin and tasty. I have no complaints about the pizzas, they were solid - Not greasy, good amount of flavor, not too thin or thick. The truffle fries with their homemade sauces were absolutely to die for however. They were a bit pricey on the $7 side I feel but it was absolutely worth it. I've had truffle fries at other pizza places, it just doesn't compare, this place does it better than anyone.

Most importantly, the service was incredible. The people behind the counter would ask us if we had any questions without being intrusive, the staff was attentive, and we were thanked many times when we bought or complimented their food. They were a food truck prior to this location, and if you've ever eaten at a food truck, you know it's usually more friendly and personal - Jeff's brings it to this brick and...
