Finally, a beautiful day with great weather — and what better way to spend it than dining outside at Dosthi Bandi! We kicked off the evening with appetizers: the Punugulu were piping hot, perfectly crispy, and paired wonderfully with their delicious tomato and peanut chutneys. Next up, the Stuffed Mirchi Bajji — the stuffing of onions and peanuts added an extra layer of flavor and a spicy kick that we absolutely loved! The Chicken 65 was another highlight — juicy, flavorful, and fried to perfection with just the right amount of spice. A cup of hot chai brought everything together beautifully. For the main course, we tried the Chicken Hakka Noodles — absolutely bursting with flavor and seasoned with the perfect level of spice! The kids couldn’t get enough. To top it all off, we had their famous Green Pulav Chicken. The pulav was rich with flavor, the sauce was out of this world, and everything was served hot and fresh — it truly felt like home-cooked comfort food. It’s no wonder Dosthi Bandi has become a hit so quickly! If you’re craving authentic Indian and street food, Dosthi Bandi is a must-visit. Highly recommend for a cozy dine-in experience. We’ll definitely be back!

I recently visited Dosthi Bandi a couple of times during my visit to sister’s home in West Chester. The menu offers a decent variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options I tried punugulu and mirchi bajji in the snacks section, both of which were tasty and reminds you the classic Indian flavors and nostalgia of enjoying your evenings with your friends at street food stalls. Fried rice, noodles and pulav were also good, with both quality and quantity meeting expectations. The staff has a welcoming attitude and treats customers well, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, if you’re looking for a casual spot with a good selection of Indian street food, Dosthi Bandi is worth a visit!

The first time I found a food truck serving real, authentic Indian food, and it did not disappoint! The Paneer and Chicken Palav, especially the spicy version, is absolutely worth trying—it has just the right touch of spices and flavor. The Samosas are also excellent, perfectly crispy with a delicious filling that’s clearly not frozen or air-fried. The service is great too. It’s definitely a must-try for anyone craving genuine Indian cuisine!

A Taste of South Indian Delights: A Review of Dosti Bandi Dosti Bandi is your one-stop shop for a taste of South Indian street food magic. From the moment you spot their colorful truck, the intoxicating aroma of spices and sizzling ingredients will have your mouth watering.

A Dosa Dynasty:

The undisputed king here is the dosa. These large, crispy crepes made from fermented rice and lentil batter come with a variety of fillings to tantalize your taste buds. You can choose from the classic potato masala or explore more adventurous options like Ghee Karam Idly. Each bite is a delightful explosion of textures and flavors, leaving you wanting more.

Beyond the Dosa:

While Dosti Bandi specializes in South Indian fare, they also cater to a wider audience with options like noodles and fried rice. However, their true gems lie in their savory offerings. Don't miss the Hyderabadi Onion Samosas, packed with a spice, or the punugulu, deep-fried lentil dumplings. These delectable treats are perfect for sharing or satisfying a quick craving.

Spice Up Your Life:

For those who love a bit of heat, be sure to ask about their cut mirchi. These are bite-sized green chilies, either battered and fried or simply stuffed with a flavorful masala, adding a fiery kick to your meal.

Warm Hospitality:

The friendly service at Dosti Bandi is as warm and inviting as the Indian spices they use. The owners are passionate about sharing their love of Indian street food and is always happy to guide you through the menu, recommending dishes based on your preferences.

A Must-Try for Foodies:

Whether you're a seasoned South Indian food enthusiast or a curious newcomer, Dosti Bandi is a must-visit for any foodie. Their commitment to authentic flavors, friendly service, and a vibrant atmosphere creates a delightful culinary adventure.

Additional Tips:

Don't forget to try their masala tea, a fragrant and spiced beverage that perfectly complements their savory dishes. If you're with a group, consider ordering a family-style meal to sample a variety of their offerings, including dosa, samosas, cut mirchi (if you dare!), and maybe even some noodles or fried rice. I highly recommend Dosti Bandi and can't wait to go back and explore more of their dosa creations, fiery cut mirchi, and other...
