Ben & Jerry’s — Restaurant in Eastham

May 21, 2025 There is a worker here that did not acknowledge our party when we walked in. He was rushing to get another order done for two people and there was no other line? The young boy in that party asked for sprinkles and this worker blankly looked at the kid and said “speak up I can’t hear you” and scoffed when he had to add sprinkles to an ice cream for a customer. Extremely unprofessional. As well as when they had to pay, the women tried giving a tip and the man (worker) walked off and said I’m in a rush. Although we were the only ones in there? When we started saying our order, I walked up and said exactly what I would like and before I could finish speaking, he cuts me off asking what else we want. Another person in my party asked for a sundae and before she could even say what ice cream she wanted he cuts her off and goes “I’m in a rush I’m looking for something small I can make.” How is that a way to talk to customers while he’s not even the one paying and we were the only ones in there. Finally we get out ice creams and he quickly jumps on his phone, and stays on even when another customer comes in and she’s just standing there waiting for him to get off his phone. I would never talk or act that way to a customer in any type of job setting. Other than that, the ice cream is delicious! And other employees are extremely nice...

I asked for a lid before ordering two scoops for the small size. The scooper dropped my second scoop on top the metal case and put it in my ice cream bowl. I thought that was weird but moved on but really thought that should’ve been discarded and given a different scoop. Then that scoop was already on the outside of the bowl and overflowing the bowl so the lid couldn’t fit and ice cream on the outside that wasn’t cleaned up. She saw the lid wasn’t fitting properly so she got me a larger bowl and a larger lid to put my smaller bowl and lid in. The larger lid wouldn’t stay latched. I ended up with ice cream all over my car because the lid popped off while driving and I didn’t know. Super frustrated and disappointed over this because I specifically asked for a lid before ordering any ice cream. If the servers know it’s a tight fit with a lid just give the larger bowl and lid to begin with and just put the...

I don’t even know where to start with this place. The pregnant lady working there had the worst attitude possible, even my daughter asked me why the lady is being so mean. Gave us incredibly small portions and I come very frequently. Also one of the foreign guys from 2 nights ago seemed drunk and can barely understand a word I said, one of the other employees was playing music loudly from his phone in his pocket. This place used to be run by young women and it was much better than, I wouldn’t recommend this ice cream shop when you have so many other great ones around...
