Eddyville Wine and Spirits — Local services in Eddyville

The only liquor store we go to In the surrounding counties. We always have wonderful interactions with the staff, however tonight we went to the drive-through and had a unpleasant experience. The woman waiting on us was rude and impatient. We asked for Crown peach. I said peach several times. When she left the window to get our stuff I told my husband “ I hope she heard me say peach, I’d hate for her to make another trip.” ( I’m a server, I completely understand) . We also had separate transactions but didn’t have the time to tell her. When she returned she had regular Crown. My husband tapped on the window so she didn’t ring it up. She responds hatefully, word for word “ You didn’t say anything about peach and now (with her hands up) you want separate transactions?!?” We just said “yes”, paid for our stuff and left it at that. I understand things get frustrating, miscommunications happen. I have a huge van, maybe she really didn’t here me but the attitude was totally uncalled for. I’m still giving this place a 5 star review. I refuse to let one bad experience ruin all the good ones. They always have what we want and service is normally perfect. Stopped in on my way through town. Bought some Flight beer. I watch my prices closely. The Flight rang up more than the advertised price below it on the rack. I told the person running the register that it rang too much. Acted like it was nothing. I said 'are you going to give me for the advertised price', he just has this dumb lost look. I remember that I ran into the wrong price thing about a year ago. Nothing was done about it evidently. I plan not to visit this store again. I do not know who to report this to. Maybe the state attorney general. With the coin laundry in the back of the store, I question how much of the money taken in actually gets reported to the IRS!!! On our way from Texas to Michigan all we've heard about was Kentucky Bourbon! We decided to check it out and were told over and over to go the Eddyville Wine & Spirits....so, that's just what we did! THEY ROCK!! They were super knowledgeable and I see why we were told to stop there, BEST selection anywhere and OMG so kind and patient with teaching me everything about Kentucky Bourbons!!
