Food Giant — Local services in Eddyville

Out of date food, this is the 5 time I'm came home with severely out of date food. I'm sure it's still good and I'm sure this is his thought. But I cannot assume that. I bought sausage cheese biscuits pie crust and Especially frozen items and can goods. If you go there please check the date on Facebook EVERYTHING! I usually do this and I grabbed a few items not checking everything. Got home and had to call them again. This same manager also runs the calvert city store where I will not go because of this same issue bringing home out of date cottage cheese and cream cheese l then ketchup. I know he knows because it's usually on sale. I'm not saying don't go there. But if you do pull the stuff you find out of date off the shelf and put in in a pile and take a pic. And tell him. I told them once in calvert and made a sharpie mark on the bag of frozen stuff it was put back in the freezer to be sold. I understand that's money and it hurts them to lose goods like that but it's also a trust they betray to the shoppers. Maybe mark it out of date and sell it...

I went in to find something I needed to make dinner that I couldn't find at Walmart in Paducah so I wasn't expecting too much. I went up and down every single aisle at least 3 times and asked two employees where I might find it. No other employees asked if I needed help When I had given up and decided to leave, a cashier named Cindy asked if I had found what I was looking for, I explained I had not and what I was looking for. She was pretty sure they didn't have it, but suggesting 2 places they might be if they did. I went and looked just in case and did not find it. We have helpful, friendly, kind employees at our local Food Giant. They are patient with the older folks who need a little more assistance. They offer help throughout the store. When I meet one them in the aisle, they smile and ask if I need help finding anything. Deli employees are kind helpful even when there is a long line (which happens a lot). ☺️Store is clean and well stocked. They are right on the ball when weather causes wet floors our slippery sidewalk and parking lot. Carry out people are always available and willing to help of I need them. If they run out of an item on shelves they always check if there is more in the back. They have fresh produce and good prices. They are willing to help with community projects. I enjoy...
