Los Agaves Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Eddyville

This was a pretty good sized place and it was quite busy when we stopped in at 8:30 p.m. There are 2 large sections and the one we were in, was very noisy as if we were in some kind of cafeteria. Chips and salsa were brought to the table right away which is always a nice touch especially when the chips are fresh and the salsa is good. The food came out fast and it was decent. I had Spinach enchiladas and the filling was Spinach and maybe a little salsa with a cheese sauce over it. The sauce became a little watery from the Spinach and the enchilada wrappers could have been a little softer but the flavor was good. When the meal was over, we asked for boxes and we got the check but never got the boxes. We waited and waited and then we just ended up leaving. Came in at six in a Friday after a long day at Venture River water park. The restaurant was very busy, which I love to see. The greeter promptly led us to a table and seated us with menus. Chips followed soon after. It did take a little time to get drinks and entree's, but considering the amount of customers it was perfectly acceptable. Entree's came piping hot and we'll presented. All the food was very delicious. We had ordered a variety of dishes including the carnitas, the pollo bandidos, chicken chimichanga, and a taco salad. We were a party of 13. We were seated rather quickly. However we did not receive menus for 16 minutes. Then we had to wait an additional 25 minutes to make our order. We had to wait for our food for 28 minutes. We did not receive silverware until after the fourth person got their food. Two people in our party did not receive their food at all and we had to reorder their food. The guacamole was so salty it was uneatable.We received one refill. Our food had no flavor and was a disgrace to Mexican cuisine. Definitely would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Mexican style food. They need better and...
