A few months ago I left Verizon after many years with them not out of dissatisfaction or anything like that but to save money I decided to go to Walmart and get a new phone for myself and my older son and use Straighttalk. I bought my phone outright completely paid off and was give the phone packaged up with Sim Card Booklet to transfer my account over on my own. From the moment I transferred my old number from Verizon to my new phone it would never work. No text messages, no internet, no phone calls. Hours and hours on the phone personally and in Walmart store with associates to try and fix the phone for months. I decided to take my phone and go back to Verizon since online it said it was compatible to transfer back over. Unfortunately I have to wait a year for straighttalk phones to be unlocked. So I sit it Verizon with a brand new IPhone 8 Plus thankful now that I didn’t buy the 1,000 iPhone X that I can’t use at all for a year and have to buy a brand new phone, case, plan with Verizon. After we got home we realized that not everything transferred and me, being very stressed over change, could not figure out how to do it. We went to the Eddyville Verizon this morning (which they ALWAYS are very helpful) and were helped by Deana, who was absolutely fantastic! She knew exactly what I was talking about and how to fix it right away and was able to complete putting our contact phone ringtones, messages, and information on within just minutes. However, each and every person was so pleasant and professional. We arrived two hours before closing to sign up for a special offer for new customers. Our college granddaughter needed a phone, watch and iPad. She had to leave that evening for school. Because of the special, they were out of two items. They wanted her to be set completely up and ready to go without driving back from Louisville. The manager had an employee from Benton bring the items. Incredible customer service.
