I exercised at The Toning Mill back in July while visiting my Dad in Hertford. The gym offers great equipment and several rooms featuring different equipment: free weights, machines, floor mats, etc. It was perfect for exercise while I was in town. The owner, Pat, was extremely nice and too accommodating, if that’s possible. My two comments/suggestions: 1. “the toning mill” as a name, is somewhat inaccurate, this is a full purpose facility with tons of equipment and suitable for everyone. 2. As others have mentioned, maybe have an online short-term pass? Or something to save the owner, Pat from having to meet people to give them access. It seems like there a lot of visitors to Edenton so this would be beneficial. Overall, the gym is great and I would highly recommend it. - Chris...

Very industrial with beautiful brick walls. Would gladly visit this gym again vs others in the area. Hopefully they accept cashless forms of payment on...
Read morePros: They have most essential equipment, including TRX suspension ropes. The gym is kept clean. Cons: I went for 3 days, and there was never a person at the front desk. You have to get in with a fob, which I didn’t have. Each day I had to keep waiting for someone to let me into the gym (20 minutes the last day). I’m not sure how they expect visitors to get into the building or what their plan is if there is a medical emergency...
