I arrived to the drive through and the employee let me know 'thank you for holding I'll be right with you' I told the employee its fine since I'm not in a hurry. Both drive thru lanes were open and someone pulled up at the other lane after I arrived, I saw the employee let the other car know the same thing she told me. The employee took the other cars order which, again, I dont mind since I wasn't in a rush. The employee came back to the intercom and let me know again she would be right with me. ANOTHER car pulled up to the lane next to me and the employee took their order AGAIN before assisting me. The employee then FINALLY proceeds to get my order and as I order I ask the employee if they have sweet tea (since they're always out) and she says yes. She then proceeds to start talking to another employee with the mic on and I say "I'm sorry?" because I didnt understand and she says "Not you, I'm talking to my girl". FIRST OF ALL, super unprofessional and if you're talking to "your girl" maybe learn to take your microphone on. She then proceeds to talk to her about my order as if shes training her then tells me to move forward. I'm already frustrated because that was rude, and I was extremely understanding because I know working the night shift sucks. The thing is, there were no more than 4 cars at the drive through so I don't understand why I got such hostile attitude. I pull up at the window and I give the lady "Keira" my card to pay, but the name on the receipt says Cashier: Miranda T. Keira then proceeds to repeat my order as "two large sprites" to which I reply no, I ordered two sweet teas. She then tells me they don't have sweet tea (no surprise) and she gives me a nasty face and I brush it off because I'm not a hostile person. I then tell her to give me sprite, she gives me my order, and I drive off. I just want to say, I understand, working night shift at a fast food restaurant can be tiring. I work at a 24 hour emergency clinic, I UNDERSTAND, but you are there to work a JOB. I do NOT deserve nasty attitudes for your bad day, either take a break or go...
Read moreHere's my take on Whataburger, you'll enjoy your food folks. It's good and all. I'm pretty sure most will enjoy it. -but most aren't here for a food review. I'm going to inform you on some other informative points.
Look, it is better to just order online and pick it up than having to wait in a long line. It's quicker usually, though sometimes the actual wait-time from what you get from the online mobile up will differ to the reality. Just because it says it's ready within 5min to 7min can actually take around 11min to 18min. (Depends on the food you order too, that's what can impact the amount of time)
You'll bound to have issues with your order, literally! So double-check, always double-check your orders when you receive them! Make sure to always emphasize the things you want to say when you order physically. (As opposed to doing it online) I can say for sure that most will agree that there is bound to be issues regarding wrong-orders. Of course, their staff can be nice and service you good. -though sometimes this can be irritable and nuisance to deal with. Especially, if you are in a rush and/or wanting to get things done smoothly without hassles to worry about.
An issue I have with this location here in particular is simply put, their location. Is annoying, I dislike it, it is just simply put annoying to deal with at times. Especially with traffic and the tight space you got to work with in this location. It is also situation in a weird intersection corner spot with a weird entrance spot to enter from the university drive. (At least one of the entrance, you'll probably recognize it whenever you pass by or enter the premise)
Overall, the food and service is great. There are some pet peeves and minor issues that can be a concern for others. So...
Read moreI was very upset with there service!😡 I rarely visit Whataburger and when i did i ordered a #2 all the way with cheese for take out .I clearly told the female cashier it going to be for take out since the burger was for someone i had in the hospital that was not eating very well. When i recived the order it was on a tray when i clearly told the female employee it was for take out. So she had it bagged for me, so when i get to the hospital i cut the burger in half and it was till my mother noticed half way into her half that the meat was raw inside the patties! I became very upset at that point. I called to notify them about the incident and they told me to take it back and tbat they would take care of the problem and i was not going to risk getting pulled over for a head light that wasn't working on my car, so i explained to them. When i went back yesterday i told them about the incident once agian and they told me that there wasn't any credit order for me but they gave me credit anyway which i really didn't want i would of rather gotten a full refund instead. I will not go back to this Whataburger again ! What a burger...😡 unit 571 on university drive in Edinburg,Tx across...
