PALETERIA Y NEVERIA LA HELADITA — Restaurant in Edinburg

We spent almost $20 for an attitude and bad products. So you're asked what you want at first, then you are charged. They then make it. However, as we're telling the cashier what we want she makes faces as she's asking like she is fed up. She asks from a distance from us what we want, when we tell her she squints and says, "What?!?" It doesn't end there, we notice the water ice cream which should be easy for the worker to scoop up, is hard as rock as if it's been there awhile. I've tried other places with water based ice cream, this doesn't happen. She put out our ice cream in front of the cash register while she's attending someone else rather than move it or ask politely, she says "Can you move your stuff?"...We move our things and let it slide. We then ask for an elote chorreado, they make it. We take a bite and the chips are stale like cardboard. We tell the cashier and she says "Well I tried them and they're fine"... We asked if we can have it made with different chips. Rather than say something, she asks "What chips?". She then literally hands us the chips and says "Here" as if, no I'm not making it again... The only male worker who barely spoke English was literally receiving attitude from the cashier herself. He politely asked us what we wanted... I'd only return if the products are maintained and not sold sitting on the shelves for too long and without the cashier's attitude. I felt bad for the male worker receiving the nasty attitude while he was the only one being polite helping us also. So yeah we were charged for an elote filled with stale hot Cheetos and given a Takis bag to fix it ourselves while being charged $20 for the hardened water based ice cream on the side. Don't know why all the high reviews aren't mentioning this? This isn't the first attitude experience. Our first experience was 6 months ago. We decided it could have been a bad day for them. But nope today confirmed, this is just a cashier problem so it seems. Now the products going bad. I wouldn't recommend this place anymore. I will let the public know if I'm contacted by the manager privately to see how...

The Ice Cream & Paletas here are AMAZING!!!🤩 Brought my boys to come get some ice cream and let me tell you they did not disappoint! The vanilla, coconut w/fresh strawberries, cheesecake, cookies and cream w/fresh cut up strawberries....the flavors were absolutely DELICIOUS!!!🤤😋 I bought some paletas to go and the fruit with yogurt was delicious, the 🍓, 🥭 & 🥝 paleta was mouth watering with such Great Flavor!! Definitely Recommend This Place I Give It A 5 Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for being my first experience with Great Customer Service & fair prices, but it was worth my $$$ & will definitely be a returning customer!!! My Family Sure Enjoyed!!! Thank You!!! God Bless 🙏...

I LOVE this place. I'm not from the valley but everytime I go I HAVE to go to la Hedalita. I have never been a big ice cream person but that ice cream is incredibly amazing and they have a flavor for everyone and the paletas a whole 60+ flavors OMG the water and anything with chamoy are my all time favorite they taste so fresh and I wasn't into cream paletas until I tried those! Definitely check this place out. As soon at you walk in you'll be overwhelmed with all the options I'm sure you'll Definitely be back to...
