It is fast paced and sells out quick! I went at 10am and mostly everything was gone but the donuts kept coming out hot and fresh. Get in line early, I showed up at 7am next time. The. take more than you think you need because you will need one more piece and they close at 2. It's family owned so they have limited staff but the wait in line is worth it. There's a reason they've been in business for generations đ€€đ„° My aunt came from Houston to order a small vanilla wedding cake and pan de polvo cookies. The plan was to save a piece for the one year anniversary, yeah, nothing was left!

My favorite thing to get from a bakery is donuts. Iâve had them for years from everywhere, even the great ones at Roundrock. But I hadnât lived until I tried this glazed donut at El FĂ©nix. My boyfriend described it as combination of the consistency of a Dunkin Donuts and the feeling of it melting in your mouth like a Krispy Kreme donut. I tried their chocolate frosted donut, but it doesnât beat the glazed which has a hint of lemon.

Saw a video on Fork It! For their doughnuts đ© and even though I'm a fan of La Mexicana since I was little I had to give them a try and they were delicious. Fresh out of the oven bought them around 7:30 AM. Their chocolate doughnuts throw every doughnut out of the water. Big thanks to foodie Fork it! For the suggestion! Deliciousness for a buck đ

I have had the opportunity to travel the US due to work, which has allowed me to visit some awesome donut places. I have eaten donuts from Strange Donuts in Missouri, Death by Donuts in Seattle, and Hypnotic Donuts in Dallas. I can honestly say, without a doubt, that El Fenix donuts has the BEST CHOCOLATE Glazed donuts that I have eaten!

Come early!! They can sell out!! Very small unimposing bakery. Youâd miss it if you didnât know it was there, unless, it was Saturday at 9am and you could see a line out the door⊠Everything you try here will be good, but some of our favorites: fresh glazed donuts, kolaches, empanadas, and fresh conchas.
