First time trying out this place and it was not as great as what I had heard from other people. Everything was too expensive for the little portions we got. Also, whatever they use to smoke the meat overpowers the actual flavor of the meat. Not really worth it in my opinion. UPDATE: In response to the business owner, I am attaching a photo of my order. I’m specifically talking about the molleja taco. I am a huge fan of mollejas and I can honestly tell you that I have paid for a molleja plate with two sides for $8 at other bbq joints. The taco I got from here was not what I expected at all for $8. Also, the chopped brisket sandwich for $8 was more like a jr. size like for a kid’s meal. If I would have known that, I would have never ordered it. I am a Texan. I have visited many bbq joints and I do know the difference of how meats are smoked. You should understand that this is just my opinion of your food compared to other reviews and customers. Please respect that and not be discourteous at a customer for expressing their opinion.

Came across this family owned gem of a bbq place by chance driving around Edinburg, TX. Got a plate with a little bit of everything and it was all so delicious. The chicken was juicy, the brisket broke apart and was so flavorful and the best part was the sausage! I ordered more to take back home to Austin and it is still just as delicious the next day after! I am a huge foodie and surrounded by a lot of bbq joints in Austin but this one will stay on my list for sure for trips back down to RGV! Thank you for the great experience.

Honestly this place is delicious! The brisket and ribs are so flavorful you don’t even need BBQ sauce on it. Their cream corn is amazing! It’s that perfect mix of spicy with the jalapeños they add in it and creaminess, I could eat a whole bowl! The owner is so sweet and takes pride and loves what they do! Would come back again and again. They have a lot of side options as well.

Lol How petty is this place? I just noticed I've been blocked off of their Facebook page for over the 1 review and opinion of my gf's honest review of the undercooked chicken plate, and fajita plate that was nothing but inedible tendons and dried up fajitas. I get the fajitas might've been what they had at the end of the day, but doesn't mean you should sell a customer an overpriced plate of inedible food, give us a heads up, especially if it's being taken out and not caught in the restaurant. Their response to the review was sassy as always and that we should've called. How can we call when they don't answer phones as even the voicemail says? My GF was nice enough to delete her review so it would not hurt them. 2nd of all these people lack people skills and come at you with an attitude when you're supporting their business and they think they're all high and mighty riding in their ship of right and the rest of us are just swimming in sea of wrong when leaving a review with their unprofessional responses back as seen in other people's reviews. Listen, A successful person/business is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at them (Constructive Criticism). I was actually thinking of giving them a 3rd chance and to get some breakfast tacod, till I realized how petty they are here after being curious as to what they had to offer nowadays. Since then, I've taken my business to GW's BBQ Catering Co. in San Juan, which has yet to disappoint. So I would give this place zero stars if I could for their pettiness and hit or miss food. If they're gonna be a legit business, they need to be a lil more thick skinned. 1 Star for the food! 1 star for their service due to attitude and watching how they like to lash out back on their reviews. 1 for the atmosphere in a small location being cooped up with the attitude...

These people (vargas) were bashing a restaurant on their own business fb page because the restaurant didn't fufill their order as they had wanted. Apparently, they asked for no black olives, and the restaurant put black olives on their pizza. So, they called out the restaurant and were asking for recommendations for other pizza places. Posts like that should not be on business pages.

Someone called them out on it. The person posting said they sucked for calling out another business. Vargas replied to that person and told them that they sucked. A business should remain professional. Reviews like those should be limited to your personal page. A business should not reply in that same manner.

The owner deleted their reply so I'm guessing they realized they were in the wrong. I was blocked for a surprise face reaction to their reply. The owners do not even know if I was reacting to the fact that they told the person posting that they sucked....or if I was reacting to their post that stated how long they had to wait for their wings.

I also have screenshots.

Yes, I've eaten there. Food was ok, too salty. I didn't say anything to the owners regarding the food because they were...
