Came across this family owned gem of a bbq place by chance driving around Edinburg, TX. Got a plate with a little bit of everything and it was all so delicious. The chicken was juicy, the brisket broke apart and was so flavorful and the best part was the sausage! I ordered more to take back home to Austin and it is still just as delicious the next day after! I am a huge foodie and surrounded by a lot of bbq joints in Austin but this one will stay on my list for sure for trips back down to RGV! Thank you for the great experience.

First time trying out this place and it was not as great as what I had heard from other people. Everything was too expensive for the little portions we got. Also, whatever they use to smoke the meat overpowers the actual flavor of the meat. Not really worth it in my opinion. UPDATE: In response to the business owner, I am attaching a photo of my order. I’m specifically talking about the molleja taco. I am a huge fan of mollejas and I can honestly tell you that I have paid for a molleja plate with two sides for $8 at other bbq joints. The taco I got from here was not what I expected at all for $8. Also, the chopped brisket sandwich for $8 was more like a jr. size like for a kid’s meal. If I would have known that, I would have never ordered it. I am a Texan. I have visited many bbq joints and I do know the difference of how meats are smoked. You should understand that this is just my opinion of your food compared to other reviews and customers. Please respect that and not be discourteous at a customer for expressing their opinion.

Honestly this place is delicious! The brisket and ribs are so flavorful you don’t even need BBQ sauce on it. Their cream corn is amazing! It’s that perfect mix of spicy with the jalapeños they add in it and creaminess, I could eat a whole bowl! The owner is so sweet and takes pride and loves what they do! Would come back again and again. They have a lot of side options as well.

Decided to stop by for a quick breakfast. Heed this warning, show up early because the line wraps around the corner. However the wait is worth it! Ordered the Big Mig Taco with included beans, potatoes, egg, brisket, and bacon! Holy moly did this guy not dissapoint! Friendly staff when taking orders and have tons more on the menu. Definitely going back to try more.

A true home grown Texas family owned, operated Barbeque nestled in the heart of Edinburg, Texas. This little unassuming BBQ joint is a true labor of love and will not disappoint its definitely worth the effort, if at first glance you cant find it simply follow the smell of good Texas BBQ.

Good homemade food, brisket sandwich was on the salty side and the rice wasn't cooked all the way through but first time it's happened still very flavorful. Mac and cheese is delicious; potato salad is tasty but a lil heavy on the mustard. Fajitas are good but not as tender as I expected.
