I came to visit my family in NJ for the holiday weekend and was so excited to finally get my first mani/pedi after nearly 4 months, due to the pandemic. I was a bit nervous with regards to what to expect but that quickly went away upon arrival. The owner met me out front, I was asked to sanitize my hands (which they provided), and then my temperature was taken from a non-touch thermometer. There were shields between technician and customer, and also dividers separating each customer as well, including the drying station. Recently Anna retired and Carrie took over and Carrie has added some new aspects to the Salon that is very exciting. New nail colors, designs, decor, latest in waxing and a very fresh, clean modern feel and look to the salon. The most important thing that remains consistent is the team at Carrie’s Nails. Everyone here is awesome. I used to come in when Anna owned the place as well. It's difficult to get an appointment with Lena. Last time I came, Roxy did my nails. It was really difficult to relax because some girl was getting married and on her cell phone the whole time talking loudly and I couldn't relax. It should be known that if you're in a salon to stay off your phone as much as possible. It's a place of relaxation. No one wants to hear your upcoming plans, etc. the whole time they're trying to relax. It's very rude and should go without saying to not be on the cell phone the whole time.
