To be honest, i didnāt like the vibe and attitude. Some of the workers do work hard and work with you to try to help you, but the money hungry employees who work above them really make the place a chaotic atmosphere. First we all came to an agreement that i would pay a certain price for 4 days. I came in, and after they finished doing some things with me, one woman was going back and forth with me about the pricing and that i was wrong. I really was not wrong. One price was definitely said over the phone and i wrote it down, and that price should have stuck. Not waste half of my day arguing with me that Iām wrong. I should have just left after that. I continued to go since Iām desperate for whatever hello that i can get, and on the third day, that lady said āare you going to leave a tip?ā Are you kidding me?! Thatās tacky to even ask something like that when the customers is paying close to $350 a day. Initially i was only supposed to pay $300 daily for 4 days. I ended up not coming back on the 4th day because getting transportation to leave and come back to Staten Island is horrible. They were actually going to charge me for not being able to come since it was last minute. That place is honestly very ridiculous and the ambiance is not good. Itās not comfortable and i was not happy with the way that things were run. The people that helped me do yoga were good and the woman who gave me a massage and did some other things were really good and didnāt seem like money hungry vultures, and if they were, they didnāt act that way at least. They acted like they were actually trying to help and do their jobs. Also Cheryl who helps with the reiki/chakra is really good. I did feel more comfortable at the place she worked Iām in Staten Island, it was more calming and peaceful, i didnāt really feel comfortable doing it at this location. I really like Cheryl and will be seeing her at locations in Staten Island whenever Iām able to and sheās coming. Other than that, this place is trash! And donāt get me wrong, i know that the world revolves around money, but as a business, when someone gives a price to a customer, you donāt argue about it back and forth for hours. That isnāt cool. I have a business and try to work with my customers, i like to make my customers happy. I donāt try to beat anyone over the head with crazy pricing. Long story short, i would not ever waste my time coming here again. I should have left after the woman kept arguing with me. I really donāt know what i was thinking, except that Iām desperate to get help.
Update: so they called me to give me a free half an hour to make up for my dissatisfaction, but in all reality, the real reason is because they want me to edit my review because they keep...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOne of the worst spa experiences I've ever had and it ruined the day before my birthday.
I booked a full body massage with a head massage. When I arrived, I was immediately hit with loud construction noise next door and vacuuming happening inside the spa. How do you schedule appointments knowing there will be construction and cleaning staff making noise during client sessions? It's not just unprofessional, it's disrespectful. When I asked the receptionist if the noise would stop once I was in the massage room, she assured me it would - she lied. The massage room was filled with nonstop banging, vacuuming, and noise for the entire appointment. I seriously considered walking out but stayed, which was a huge mistake. The massage was beyond terrible, no technique, no pressure, just someone slathering oil over my body with no care or skill. The head massage was even worse: my hair was drenched in oil without any warning. They used so much oil I was practically dripping. Instead of properly wiping off the oil with a steam towel, the therapist told me to wipe off the oil myself using the thin paper wrap around my body. I left feeling greasy, uncomfortable, and utterly disrespected. When it was time to pay, I was charged and then asked if I wanted to tip. I've never left a service without tipping - until now. I felt completely robbed of my money and time. This spa is a complete joke. Horrible communication, a chaotic and unprofessional environment, terrible massage skills, and zero concern for customer comfort or satisfaction. I will never return! And their glowing 4.8-star rating? TOTAL FRAUD After reading multiple negative reviews, it's clear they're deleting bad feedback or manipulating ratings to fool customers. If you want a genuine, relaxing spa experience, avoid this place at...
