This review is long overdue. Really overdue. However, time will not change how AMAZING The Mall At Oak Tree (MAOT) is!
Looking for a traditional Indian style bridal outfit? Go to MAOT. Looking for a bespoke piece with certain elements?Go to MAOT. Looking for something gorgeous, but within a budget, Go to MAOT. Looking for evening wear? Ha, better believe it, MAOT will have it.
They have designs of all kinds for discerning tastes and price ranges to fit any budget (literally).
My personal experiences have been mainly with their designer trunkshows. So nicely put together, organized, and even have models in different pieces so you can see the beauty of the clothing (let's face it, sometimes when it's on the hanger, you may not see the possibilities, but when it's draped beautifully on someone, you think WHOA!! I can attest to this because I once purchased a tunic, that I initially thought, oh it's OK. But when I saw the same item on Niharika Batra, it definitely changed my mind (granted, I am not as modelesque as she is, but the top was lovely and glad I did purchase!!)
Many of my relatives shop at MAOT and all had seamless and wonderful experiences. My cousin's wife even found an evening dress there for a formal event, and it garnered compliments all night long!
Chirag , Niharika and their staff are really wonderful. I never felt pressured to purchase on a whim, and the customer attention is so welcome and detailed. I say this wholeheartedly, they will not pressure you to purchase if you are on the fence about something. Customer satisfaction is top of mind for the staff, so the goal is to make all their customers happy with all their purchases.
If you are looking for trendy, traditional, bespoke or even something a bit different from the normal run of the mill designs, take a visit to Mall at Oak Tree. You...
Read moreI am wondering why the clothing stores are getting 5 stars! Is there any option for negative 5 stars? So they do have a great collection, but mind you, you will only be welcome and treated well if you are going to spend $$$$$$. If you are looking to get a matching blouse for a saree you already have, you are not welcome specially when there are other bigger customers in the store. The manager or the person in charge will ask the salesgirls to pay more attention to people who they think will spend thousands! What kind of customer service is that? Here is what happened; My wife was looking for a matching blouse for a saree she had already purchased. One of the salesgirl offered to help find her one, and there were a couple of them she liked and asked if there were more choices. Meanwhile the manager comes from behind and ask the salesgirl what she is looking for. The salesgirl politely said, that I am looking for a blouse for her for this saree. In the next second it happened that my wife turned around and saw (caught) the manager who was giving signs to the salesgirl that she needs to go and help other customers (who came in the store after us) since they were looking for wedding dresses. No customer is big or small! They have no sense of customer service! I would definitely want to make sure that they see this and act on it. This may have happened to many, but I am someone who will not be quite for not being properly treated. You are in business because of your customers, learn to...

I made a trip from DC to the Mall at Oak Tree for potential bridal wear and ended up buying an outfit I liked for a pre-wedding event. So many things went wrong:
No promised alterations were done on my outfit. Chirag, the owner or someone with authority there, seems to believe alterations were done "incorrectly," as though I somehow grew 4 inches in height and lost 40 lbs in 2 weeks...
This item was "less than $1000," so when a family member went to pick it up after it was supposed to be altered to my size, Rekha told her the item was not expensive enough to iron or send in a garment bag (things that were promised to us when we bought the outfit).
Rekha forgot to send the dupatta that belonged with the outfit. This had to be mailed to me.
The Mall tried to fix the alterations on my outfit twice, but they lost my measurements so the outfit they sent back 1) cutoff my circulation and 2) then reverted back to being too big. This was even after I FaceTimed them to give them my measurements.
In the end, this whole saga took over a month and I never got a properly...
