The staff taking the order is really unprofessional and rude and seems a kind of racist. I am writing this review since it happened 2nd time in a row (we only visited the restaurant twice). So this is what happened: First time when we went, we placed the order for vada pav and chickoo milkshake and payed our bill, the guy took the order but we did not get the chickoo milkshake for a long time , so we asked the staff about it and they brought it immediately. But while leaving , the person at the counter called us and asked us if we paid for the chickoo milkshake since it was brought to us after we reminded them, he pretended to forget that we had payed for it along with the vadapav, and called us at the counter and checked the bill. He was wrong of course. We thought it was an honest mistake. The second time we went (today), the same guy took the order and he was continuously staring at us throughout, then another person from the chat counter came and gave us patties which we didnāt order, we said the same to him but he said itās complementary, so we were pleased and had it. Then again while leaving the same counter guy called us and said that we didnāt pay for the patties , we said it was complementary and we said we donāt want it and still he smiled and gave us and now he is asking for money and that too in front of everyone like last time, as if we were leaving without paying. We decided then and there that we are never going to this place, it was a very disrespectful and rude behaviour. He did...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently visited Jay Bhavani with my wife, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! The restaurant offers an excellent selection of authentic and flavorful dishes, with something for everyone's taste buds.
Upon entering, We were immediately struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff were attentive and welcoming, making us feel right at home. I ordered their famous Vadapav, CTC sandwich, and the food was absolutely delicious. The food was well cooked and so tasty that it made me and my wife crave for more food items to try. I ordered Rose Gulkand shake, it was mind blowing, and I would suggest anyone visiting Jay Bhavani to try them.
What I particularly appreciated was the prompt service. Despite being busy, the staff made sure that my order arrived within a reasonable time frame, and they consistently checked in to ensure I had everything I needed.
In addition to the fantastic food, the prices were quite reasonable, making it an excellent option for both casual dining and special occasions. I would highly recommend Jay Bhavani to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic dining experience. I will definitely be returning soon to try out more of their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA family run restaurant that serves Maharashtrian and Gujarati street food with Vada Pav being the star of the show. Pros: Multiple varieties of Vada Pav witulh traditional hot red dried Garlic chutney. Good Marketing Strategy with unlimited pani Puri (Spaicy Water Balls). Special open face JB sandwich is delivious, but if you do not like Amul cheese it is not for you. Paneer Puff is a must try. Ample of seating space.
Could be better: Vada Pav is better served with fried and salted green chilly, adding one would not only complete the taste but also improve the food aesthetic. Sev Puri was delicious but had right out of fridge cold green chutney, not the best for the folks with sensitive teeth. Please do not serve chai in a disposable cup with coffee branding š . Adding a traditional cutting Chai Glass would definitely be more appealing. The tea I ordered had a bad pre-made taste with lack of milk and boiling time. Please let the CTC tea brew in hot water for 5 minutes then add milk to subtle brown color and let it cook on low gas flame for for 3-5 mins. Adding traditional Marathi and Gujarati decor would really add...
