T.J. Maxx — Local services in Edmonds

I went here before Family Pancake House while I waited, did my pre-shopping and Christmas list hunting, Brady helped me hold a few items that were heavy until I came back. I said I would be back in an hour, and I was, I continued to browse the store and ended in the jewelry section. I picked two items, both Betsey Johnson, a while $12 each. That's where I had the displeasure to meet CK, he was called over to assist me with jewelry, no one else standing there and proceeds to ask me if I was the one who called him over. CK stared at me while I asked him three times to get the ones I wanted, the "Christmas pigs and the nutcracker" he hands me one and tells me I can look at it. Refuses to hand me the other one, I say fine, I get it but I'm going to the register. I'll get it, and my other large items held at the front. Couldn't tell you what name it was under, and I don't think it matters, I had the receipts. It was an extremely rude customer employee interaction, I told CK "It's not what you say it's how you say it." I believe CK is in management or leadership, therefore I am leaving this comprehensive review for corporate to know that they also need to performance check whomever they have leading.

So disappointed that they wouldn't let me return my unopened adult sized Halloween costume. They had a tiny sign behind the back counter that said you couldn't return kids costumes (but mine was an adult sized costume). The cashier never mentioned it didn't follow the normal return policy of 30 days and there was no signage at the cash register area. They just decided I couldn't return it and I don't think that is very good customer service at all!! I like shoping at TJ's and I spend a lot of money there every month but now I don't feel like shopping there anymore (and I won't be promoting it to my friends like I used to). Oh well, I'm sure they don't care that they have a dissatisfied customer. Update: The Northgate TJMaxx took my costume back no problem...no questions asked like they should have. It's a good place to shop but it can be expensive to shop their so I suggest you save up about 200.dollars to shop they and pay in cash, and don't forget your receipt,just in case you want to take something back to the store,the people are really nice their,I like shopping their, and theirs others places close by the TJ Max store theirs Safeway store,dollar tree store, phone store,an, UPS store, credit store,kids center,if you need other things to do,like food and Starbucks is in the Safeway store,mail, clothes, clothes, Dollar tree has other stuff you might need, anyway TJ Max is a great Shopping store just make sure you have alot of money because some items are really...
