I purchased 2 different types of tile in the store and there was something wrong with the texture of one of the tiles. The owner came out and said the following first he said that I picked out the tile, thanks for the reminder. Second, he said that light tile gets dirty, omg who would have known that followed by I saw the same tile in another store and purchased it from them instead, which means what I do not know. He said he is in business for 45 years which is a very long time to not notice a defect in the tile and and an even longer time to realize that your customer is dissatisfied with the product they bought from your company.

But, I get it he has to be right, he came to my home to let me know that I bought the tile and that light tile gets dirty, a lesson that I did not need.

Anyway across the street is Avalon Tile and they care about you so next time you are in the market for tile do not go to Coast they are very nice until you have a problem then they are not happy with you because you are unhappy.

They missed an opportunity for an amazing review this is how this should have gone.

At the time i went to this store, I had an appointment, which was required about a month ago. It was quite busy, many customers must of had an appointment during the same time period. I walked around to look at their various selections. I guess I circled the store for about 20 minutes. At no time did anyone ask if I needed help, or if I was one of their appointments, or to say that they would be with me in a moment. So, I left the store. Not sure if they assumed that I was just "looking rather than buying". I was coming from work, had on my scrubs and I am a person of color. I immediately went to the Avalon Tile across the street, where my experience was the opposite. As soon as I walked in I was asked to be assisted. I was able to obtain samples to choose from. For comparison, I ended up at Mazza's Flooring America and have since made my purchase for a flooring installation Customer service...

I came in with my son today looking for a very small piece of tile that had broken on my dining patio set. I wasn’t very optimistic that I would find it here because I figured a place like this would only sell big pieces. When I walked through the door I noticed everyone was busy attending other customers and everyone seemed very cheery. I figured I’d be waiting a while but the employees greeted me right away and said they’d be with me soon. Michael Jr. came up to me with a smile and asked me how he could help me and when I told him what I was looking for he was very helpful! And in less than 5 minutes he found exactly what I was looking for! I was so happy that no matter how big or small my business was to them they approached me with the same customer service and professionalism as any other guest!
