Bonefish needs to address their curbside game! I hate leaving a bad review, but we’ve been so disappointed with our last two curbside orders! We’ve dined at EHT Bonefish for years and the experience has always been consistent and good. We do not dine out as much as we used to due to my husband’s back issues. We’ve ordered online curbside pickup three times. The first time was great, the last two were very disappointing!!! The second time we ordered curbside we waited in the car for 20 minutes before going inside to inquire (despite having received a text that food was almost ready at pickup time). The food was cold when we got home less than a mile away and items were wrong or missing. Tonight we tried again. Got a text that food was almost ready and checked in when we got to the parking lot. Had to call after 10 minutes of waiting. Put on hold for another 5 minutes and finally got our food after nearly 20- minutes. Got home to find all food was lukewarm. The filet medallions were over cooked (ordered medium, more like med well to well) and looked nothing like the picture on the website. The seafood dish we ordered came with the wrong sauce which the order online feature makes it very easy to distinguish which sauce you want. And even after going out of our way to request bread (which if you don’t add to your order you don’t get), it was omitted. I ordered the New Mexican corn side, which had it not been lukewarm probably would have been fantastic, and for you to up-charge $4 for that side (it’s corn!!!) is outrageous. Also up-charged $4 for side Caesar which seems outrageous. Adding insult to injury, we tipped the serving staff above 10% on a takeout order that was so messed up. The food had to have been sitting under a heat lamp for the entire time we were waiting. Bottom line: Do not offer curbside during summer months if your staff can’t handle it. Not sure if we will be back.
Update: The manager from Bonefish called me after I posted this review on their website. He apologized for my experience and was very concerned about keeping my business. Offered $50 in GC and said to ask for him personally next time we place a curbside order. He acknowledged the challenge they’ve had at times and said they are working hard to improve. Read moreI have been at this place few times and I had a good experience and bad experience yesterday we went for the dinner me and a friend of mine and we had to waitress that she's been working there for 3 years her name is Audrey first she came in and she did not explain to us anything about the specials she had what it looks like bad day and I was trying to be humble with her because I used to work for Bonefish and I know the routine so I try to explain to her on a nice way how is it supposed to be the water for goldfish like I said because I had the experience was Bonefish because I used to work for them she got very upset have a very rude attitude and she walked away from the table and she said she had it with me and she said I'm done I will go get you a manager which is I never ask for the manager but I guess she sounded like she owned the place and she walked away from the table and a few minutes later a manager came came in his name is Rich and he said so is that he was going to change the server and we need to start fresh after the food was late and he said that he would take care of things meant to us that he was going to comp the meal for us which I didn't ask him for anything neither. that I asked to speak to the manager/ finally they send us a server his name is Chris very nice-guy and he took care of us very good and there was another waitress waited on last time Carly very nice and professional but after all the food was adverage good the only thing is that the way the first server acted she was unprofessional rude and mean and that's not the way it should be when you go out to have a nice dinner you don't need this kind of attitude at the end we end up paying full price for everything and the man in each other came in and he said to us that he meant when he said he'll take care of things it didn't mean that he was going take care of the meal he didn't even offer us I Desert on the house very unprofessional and they look like they need some counseling and training from serving customers and managing employees and good customer...

So the highlight of our meals may have been the drinks and most of the appetizers. Their signature bang bang shrimp and the calamari. Potstickers were a tad salty but they weren’t the worst. Our dinners were a disaster starting with the fontina pork chop. Boy did that look amazing but once my daughter bit into it she thought something was off so she tried another piece cutting from some in the middle … same off putting taste. She had a few of us taste it, it was very smoky and very salty! No where in the menu did she read smoke the thing was like ham! My husband’s mahi mahi was more like a watery bland tilapia. Worse fish dish he’s ever had. My filet thermidor also has that smoked flavor but the steak was cooked perfectly. I know you’re thinking well it’s a seafood restaurant why order steak? It was smothered in a lobster n crab cream sauce. Also, I’ve had great filets at my local BF back at home. This place was not even close to matching the quality in taste with the one at home.
