HB Pro Sound — Local services in El Paso

This has to be one of my worst experiences with a purchase of equipment in my 40 years of business. On my first several calls I got inexperienced sales guys. one several different occasions. They didn't have a clue on their products and what I was asking for. After being transferred to Scott who new what he was doing and placed partial order with Scott. I asked for two aluminum base plate and two 9'f-34 trusses. He couldn't get me a price and Scott never followed up with me and called back as promised. Nobody called back when they said they would. I finally dealt with Daniel. After getting the runaround they finally got me a price and I placed the order. They had two base plate in stock and I had to put half to hold the base plates and order the trusses. I was told 2-3 weeks. After several calls and a month latter they finally came in. I paid half down to hold the base plates yet they sold them and ordered new ones. I drove 4 hours to this store which was told them at the beginning of the purchase only to find they ordered the wrong base plates. These incompetent people ordered steal base plates that were so damm heavy , it was not possible to carry. The part that upset me the most is when they lied to me and said this is all they carry! They never heard od aluminum base plates. They are a global truss dealer and everyone uses aluminum ! They were not friendly there, they were not knowledgeable , When I told them they ordered the wrong base plates, they were upset i wanted a refund and did Not even apologize for the mistake!!!! Worst customer...

I called in to discuss financing options, and with out even asking, the owner (moron) of the company automatically assumed I was trying to sell something and then proceeded to hang up on me. I tried to buy local and got a slap in the face. This is why local owned businesses can't make it in El Paso. They have no sense of professionalism or courtesy. Guitar Center just earned themselves a new customer.

Follow up So I received a reply from HB asking me to forgive their misunderstanding of the conversation that took place over the phone. Being that I spoke with the owner over the phone and have no idea who it is that responded to my review... I can say this: I will never set foot in this store. If the person who replied to my review had heard the phone conversation that took place, they wouldn't dare ask me forgiveness. The owner has burned me and has earned my word of mouth to keep everyone away from this place. No one should be treated this way... by anyone. I hope this business that has been around for over 30 years goes under and the owner take a look in the mirror and realize how stupid she is. Realize what an error in judgment she made, and hopefully never has an opportunity to deal with another potential...

Customer service is great, and not to mention...you can put something on hold and they only require 50% down until you pay it off.

The guy that helped us was very attentive and answered all questions. He even took the time to show us the lights and fog machine and how all the lights work and how you can control it.

Overall it was a great experience, I think we had found our new favorite place to buy consoles, speakers,...
