If you need a ding repair on any board and want it done right, go to TJ’s. I needed a repair on my hull board with a purple color match, most other places I called wouldn’t color match and I’ve had mixed results even for my white board dings in the past.

The fiberglass popped out from hitting it with my shin on a wipe out and definitely couldn’t fix it myself. I brought it to TJ’s and they fixed it in less than a week and came out super clean! No bump in the repair area and with a gloss finish to match the rest of my board to keep it looking buttery 🧈.

I took my 5'4 CI biscuit here for repair, it had a major gash on the rail near the nose. It was a repair too intricate for me to try. They took my board in and told me the price, which was fair. They repaired it fast and when I went there to pick up, the repair was flawless. They even repaired some other spots and color matched the art my older surfer friend did for me, 80s inspired. TJ is a great dude, and does excellent work with really fast turnaround. I only ride epoxy these days, and every repair I’ve done with other shops were over resined and threw the weight and float off on the board. TJ is just really thorough in drying, filling, glassing and sanding that the board comes back pretty much as close to new as you could ever ask for... and I’ve put him to the test with everything from minor dings, to major cracks from rocks, and full buckles.
