Just know that if you are using the catering options...the amount of food is not nearly enough for the number of people Chipotle says it is supposed to feed. I am really lucky all 15 people did not show up to my work event or some would not have had lunch. I was a bit frustrated and completely shocked at the small amount of food provided for the nearly FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS... $400... I paid...kind of outrageous. I couldn't believe it and even called to honestly ask if the delivery guy forgot a box at the store?!!
Which, by the way -- you cannot get anyone to answer at the store....not happening. I tried the 1-800 # in my order confirmation email, but good luck getting a human...no matter what you say to the bot -- it keeps referring you to the website to leave feedback or report problems (no, pressing 0 ten times doesn't work) -- it took me about 20 minutes until I finally found a catering line/option/human assistance -- then they end up just calling the local store while you wait on hold 15 mins š¤¦āāļøagain, local store never answered.
I was then transferred to a feedback department where the lady reviewed my order and explained the size of the containers that are included with the catering option for x15 - which is not anywhere on the website when you order - so you have no idea what to expect. Abundant amount of lettuce, no problem. I'd say you only get about 8-10oz of veggie toppings for whole group! And the "30oz containers" that the meat comes in? Noooo where near '30 oz' of anything - container was not even close to half full. Will say if you add on the 3-bags-of-chips-package for $58 š ya do get enough salsa and sour cream for an army.
Food was fine I guess, at least fresh. Just sharing this so you are not as utterly shocked as I am at the small amount of food for a group catering order that costs an arm and a leg.
Dear Corporate Chipotle -- please reconsider being more realistic in the amount of food you advertise for your catering options... either include more food for the outrageous price so everyone can actually eat!!! Or, reduce the numbers you claim it will feed. I would say -- AT BEST -- your order for 15 people is more appropriate...

For this experience, I was trying to redeem a reward, but the app was having issues (which central customer support later acknowledged as well), long story short, my points disappeared. I did this all in front of the cashier.
Occasional app issues are understandable. However, the main point was that the cashier/manager next to her was incredibly unsympathetic and unhelpful in resolving this, looking at me as if I was trying to cheat the company out of $3. Are you serious? Iām not complaining about having to pay an extra $3, but how I was simply dismissed, given how much Iāve spent at the restaurant over the years. Way to reward loyalty.
In any case, this experience was quite negative and given how this particular restaurant was always quite hit or miss, I wonāt be going back.
A good example of a proper quick and easy restaurant, The Kebab Shop, is just across the street. I just wanted to mention them out because they are similar to Chipotle and theyāve had much more consistent good quality every time Iāve gone. Thereās also a decent In N Out a block away.
Iād avoid this chipotle if you donāt feel...
