I have nothing but praise for Warby Parker. Wearing glasses isn't common for me. The first pair I ever owned were made by LensCrafters about 6 years ago, and I either quickly outgrew them or they never fit well to begin with. I didn't wear them often, as a result. The pressure on my temples was too much to deal with, and adjustments wouldn't work because the frames were too small. More recently, about a month and a half ago, I got my prescription renewed and ordered some glasses online through EZcontacts. I waited nearly a month for those to arrive and they were both too small and made incorrectly!
In my frustration, I decided to visit this Warby Parker store. The people here are so kind and helpful. I was shown glasses that actually fit the width of my head, and I was given recommendations on what might suit me stylistically. I was also shown my options for transition lenses, which I was able to test out in-store as well. The ordering process went smoothly too, after I gave it a few days to think over. I brought my prescription in store and had my PD measured (which, strangely, doesn't seem to be something that ophthalmologists measure for you). The glasses took such a short time to arrive at my home that I was in disbelief, given my experience with EZcontacts. They came in perfect order, and getting them adjusted wasn't a problem either. The person who assisted me adjusted my frames in ways I didn't think needed adjustment, but this was all for the betterment of the fit and feel between my glasses and I.
I'm horrible with remembering names, and I apologize for that, but my thanks extends to everyone who works here at this Warby Parker store. The care in assuring my satisfaction with my glasses - as well as the safety of others and myself during the COVID-19 pandemic - has been...
Read moreI wish I could share the same great review that most of you left. I went to a different Warby location to have an eye exam done and had good experience there. A few week later I visited this Warby store at The Point. I went in to choose a frame and to hopefully place an order at the store. I entered the store and I was greeted with a hello. There were 4 people working and one customer there at the time, that customer wrapped up and left maybe 30 seconds after I got there. So there were 4 employees in the store 3 of them standing together talking to each other. I continued to browse. No one came up to me and asked me if I needed assistance. I spent about 5 minutes browsing until I found what I wanted. Looked around at the employees and still nothing. Yes I know I could have simply asked for help. But I found it interesting that I was the only one in the store and no one bothered to ask me if I needed anything. So , I decided to leave. No one said anything to me as I exited the store they just continued to socialize. I went home and ordered the my glasses from the Warby website. I am a big fan of the company but I can't say I'm a fan of...
Read moreAfter going to the optometrist and realizing that for a pair of not so cute glasses with transition lenses I would have to spend approx. $400+, I decided to take my prescription to Warby Parker. I'm so glad I did. Not only was the customer service amazing, but they took the stress out of finding the right frame. I was in and out of there in about thirty minutes when it usually takes me about two hours to make a decision. I was able to get a super cute frame (Ainsley) and transition lenses with anti-scratch, anti-glare, and blue light protection for $195 all in ($95 frames, $100 transitions, all other stuff no charge). I will be taking my daughter there tomorrow for a new pair!! Also, I received them pretty fast. I chose my frame at about 6 p.m. on a Friday and they were delivered on Friday of the next week. I do wish you could call the store directly. I'd like my daughter to be helped by the same person that helped me, but there's no way to confirm he'll be there as I cannot call the store. I would normally remove a star, but the service was so good as was my experience. I just can't fault a location for a...
