We just visited this restaurant with a few friends it was about four of us on 11/6/2020. We hadn't seen each other in a while (Thanks Covid). And came here because of the outdoor seating and one of friends spoke highly of this place. To be honest I was very disappointed, the only reason why I'm giving them two stars is because the Lobster Ravioli Rosa was delicious. We ordered a few plates all in the picture below and I was very much not impressed, the quantity and the price did not match in my opinion. I was hoping the quality would be great but unfortunately it was not. We ordered a few appetizers and I did not like any of them. Our calamari seemed like it was the left overs of the day also it was mixed with random lemon slices that were battered and fried which made us believe it was maybe a potato, but in fact these were horrible lemon slices. Like why would anyone bread lemon slices? The Caramelized Brussels Sprouts in my opinion were very chard for my liking. My other friend she enjoyed them very much though. The Firecracker Shrimp were good. The only issue I had with them is that it was more salad than shrimp. For main dishes we had Woodfire Roasted Chicken which is "½" a chicken and some random salad thats it. I mean you can go to Costco and get this meal for like 8 bucks maybe even with a drink? Lol I guess that's enough to know my friend didn't like her meal. We also ordered the Fig and Pig Pizza and well my one of friends liked it. This was the one thing she said she was excited to get and very much enjoyed it. Me personally I did not like it at all. Its very sweet in my opinion. Im the girl that like pineapple in her pizza but figs? To each their own I suppose. As far as my other friend and my self we ordered the Lobster Ravioli Rosa and like I said above it was DELICIOUS 😋. I had never been here before so I checked the menu and I knew what main dish I wanted and sure enough in my opinion the best dish there. The only thing bad about this was that it was just not enough of it. As for the seating that took a star off. We were sat in the most uncomfortable table with the most uncomfortable stools. We had miss seeing each other and had plan to spend a good while there. We asked to be moved before our appetizers arrived and we were told they would move us but, never did. So if you get that table don't stay to long its very uncomfortable. Also the waiter he dropped a few items off the table while picking up plates up from the table because we didn't have spaces for the rest of out food but, still we were left in that horrible seating area. Even though there were open tables. At one point one of my friends stood up to eat because the seats were horrible and still were not moved. I mean I understood it was a Friday night around 8pm. And there are no open tables but, there were and the waiters saw we had issues and we had asked to be moved and they just didn't do it. I was very disappointed with the service of this restaurant. Maybe I'll go on a less busy day just for that Ravioli though and hope its...
Read moreI’ve eaten at this restaurant multiple times when I lived in torrance. I decided to come back with some friends yesterday for a late friendmas dinner. There is parking available in the lots adjacent to the restaurant, across the street, and in the structure. I definitely recommend making a reservation as it gets crowded. They have great happy hour prices too Thurs to Sunday 1600 to 1800! We just missed it since our reservation was at 1800. The decor is super cute with Christmas lights outside and on the patio. The inside is very warm and cozy. The server was nice, but not very attentive. We had to wave her down a few times to order a drink and some food. Otherwise, this is one of my favorite places for Brussel sprouts. I know that sounds weird, but you have to try them to understand. The other food in my opinion was OK.
Food and drink review:
The Wallflower: (5/5) This was such a delicious drink! The hibiscus rosemary foam on top was so unique and a great touch.
Brussel sprouts (5/5): These are some of the best damn Brussel sprouts I’ve ever had. They are covered in lemon deliciousness and the slice of bread also soaks up all the goodness. This is a staple item here.
Calamari fritto misto (5/5): These were cooked perfectly. They were soft inside, but had a great crust and crunch. The 2 dipping sauces were delicious.
Steak Frittes (3/5): Good portion of food, but the fries were meh… and the steak was tough/ hard to chew despite requesting it to be cooked medium rare. Overall pretty good flavor.
Woodfire Roasted Mary’s Chicken: (3/5) The description sounded delicious, but the chicken itself was extremely dry even with the sauce and side of hot sauce. The side salad was delicious, I got it without the fennel.
Lamb Bolognese With Pappardelle: (3/5) Again, this dish sounded delicious, but it did not deliver. The noodles were tasty and cooked perfectly, but the sauce was definitely lacking flavor. It was a little better when we added...

MY VISIT: Sunday (7/10/17 @ 8PM)
We made a reservation a few hours before and we're able to get a table for 4 people at the time we wanted (8PM). The dining area and bar were pretty busy but we didn't have to wait and were seated immediately.
FOOD: My boyfriend and I shared the SIMPLE GREENS SALAD. The delicious honey dijon dressing made it more than just "simple". The serving size was a perfect portion for us to split.
We each ordered our own main entrees. I had the CRISPY SKIN SCOTTISH SALMON and it was good. However, I asked for it to be "cooked through" (aka well-done) which I kind of regret because it was a little dry so it probably would've been delicious if I just left it as is. He had the FIG AND PIG PIZZA an he loved it and said it was pretty filling.
His parents shared the POACHED PEAR SALAD and the BRAISED BEEF SHORT RIBS. They really enjoyed both items and said they were glad they shared both as it was the perfect amount of food for two. They're visiting from Colorado and they were already talking about coming back the next time they're in town.
WINE: We brought our own bottle of wine and the CORKAGE FEE was only $15.00.
