Starbucks — Restaurant in Elizabeth City

This morning (Sat - Sep 04, 2021), my wife and I stopped here for coffee on our way to Norfolk Airport. She was nearly halfway through her coffee and she took what ended up being her final sip and noticed something in her mouth. She pulled a hair out that came from her coffee cup. This rating is actually a zero for the distress they caused. We both threw away our drinks.

Update (Tue - 10-26-2021): I was going through my phone and came across my review from 7.5 weeks ago. As you can see, there's been no reply. Goes to show how much they care about their customer satisfaction. Maybe that is a luxury when they think the locals have limited choices. I have been going to McDonalds or Muddy Waters Coffeehouse for my Java fixes and Highly Recommend them as they seem more focused on customer satisfaction than Starsucks.

I'm not sure what is going on lately with Starbucks of Elizabeth City; however, my experience there for the past couple months has been horrible. First of all they're always out of something. Yesterday out of pumpkin and vanilla syrup, today out of cold brew. I understand that's not completely their faults but it's become consistent that they're always out of something. Also, there should be some sort of sign put out when they're out of things because the drive-thru is typically extremely long so it would be nice to know you're not getting what you want before you wait in 20+ minute line. Second, I have gotten the bacon Gouda twice in the past month and it has been cold in the middle both times. I do love Starbucks and am not one to complain but the subpar service lately has been entirely too consistent and upsetting especially considering the amount of money a coffee or food item costs here.
