On April 18, 2022 I went to the Adidas Outlet store located at 651 Kapkowski Rd, Elizabeth, NJ 07201. I had to return a few items because they weren’t the accurate size. When I was next in line, I was met with a lady. I told her this was a online order and I wanted to return it. The lady proceeded to walk away without any notice of my presence. I assumed she was getting a device of some sort to help with the return, so I didn’t think much of it. When she came back she asked for the order number and email. I showed her my order number and I spelled out the email for her. However, she rudely touched my phone without my permission trying to look for the email. Not only that, but she nastily told me to input the email myself. She notified to me that, I already applied for a return and that I would have to wait two weeks for my money to come back after they ship out the items. So, I told her that I didn’t want to wait two weeks and would have preferred for them to scan the items in for a quick refund. She told me that wasn’t possible, unless I called customer service and asked them to cancel my return. So I called customer service and once they cancelled it, I told the same lady at the front. But, she then told me that it wasn’t possible for her to scan in the items for a return. She made me waste my time by calling customer service and there was definitely communication problems. After that, she left the registration desk without any warning to talk to the manager and came back and said that her manager could speak with us. So we accepted the offer and when the manager came to us, he was very nice, but had some sort of attitude as well. He was just restating what the lady had said and did nothing to solve my issues. I’m assuming after hearing his coworkers side of the conversation, he had some bias towards me, so he gave me an nasty attitude. However, he did explain the return policy and how every outlet would have to ship the items back to FedEx for a return. Overall, my experience at the outlet was horrible and the customer service...
Read moreHad an awful experience and am not sure who to speak with. I spoke with a lawyer first but before I go any further with next steps I hope I can resolve this with little headache. At the Adidas store in Jersey Gardens, a security guard followed me throughout my entire time at the store. Moved where ever I was. I noticed after the 5th or 6th time of saying 'excuse me' that the person I was saying it to looked similar to the last. At least in the corner of my eye. I'm looking at shoes! I'm not staring or looking at people directly. As I was walking through the aisles some more; I saw this person and this time I see the word SECURITY in the back. I thought, 'you have got to be kidding me.' This is because I have been followed before, and many times. Without reason or cause and so I always have my guard up. I have a protocol when shopping because having to speak to management time and again is frustrating and hurtful. Anyway, when I got on the line for checkout he moved next to me and stared at me. My boyfriend joined me and I told him, 'as crowded as it is here why is this dude lurking around me everywhere I go? Look' I motioned for my boyfriend to look at the guard and he was still staring. When we moved the front of the store to the register, the same guard moved to the window about 5 feet from me. Note: the store is PACKED as it was a 50% off storewide sale. But why focus on me? My boyfriend and I didn't have any bags with us when we came in - just the clothes on our back; we tried on shoes, and stood on line like everyone else. Why single me out? This really sucked because we don't even rock this brand but Adidas sponsors the department my boyfriend works for at his job and we wanted to cop new gear for his first day at the...
Read moreDo not waist your time to go to this store They have the worst customer service ever, they stole my money And refuse to give me my refund. A week ago I bought items worth almost 300 and paid part with a gift card and the rest with my debit card but when I swiped it their system failed and they asked me to pay with cash because there was a transmission error. A few days later my husband went to the same store to exchange one item for another and they told him he had a credit of $55 because he had them that they were carrying they were cheaper and they asked how he wanted the money back and he answered that to the card but did not realize that it was not my debit card but the gift card that had already been completely spent and they returned the money to that card that had been thrown in the trash. I immediately asked them to reverse the transaction and give me cash or a store credit, but they told me that they had to get authorization from the finance department and that they were going to send an email to come back or call in two hours. I have been calling and going to the store for a week and only today they gave me an answer saying that unfortunately they could not reverse the transaction and that the financial department did not give the authorization. This is definitely not correct. Of course the transaction can be reversed but they didn't want to and...
