Sign on the wall in clear view to customers that says something like if we have a problem we won't make excuses we'll fix it.. I think they may need to read this again!! I went to the restaurant. The counter service was very pleasant, order taken, money paid then I stood to one side to await the food.. No 107. No 98 had just received their order. The owner/manager was walking around carrying a clipboard ; a lady, who didn't wear a uniform, was also walking around carrying a clipboard, and a young efficient guy was clearly supervising operations. 15 minutes later No one had received their food. The owner/manager and the lady were nowhere to be seen and the young guy was organising the paper orders with a view to completing them. 30 minutes later Still no sign of the owner/manager or the lady and the young guy although pleasant, clearly under a bit of pressure but lacking the maturity to liaise with the customers waiting (I reckoned nothing that training and guidance from competent management couldn't fix) finally starting to receive sufficient cooked product from the kitchen. The problem : NOBODY IN THE KITCHEN HAD COOKED CHICKEN... it's a chicken based fast-food restaurant!! 40 minutes later The order finally filled was given to me without any attempt to apologise for the delay. I visited this Popeyes today and ordered 16 pieces of chicken, requesting that 3 pieces be non-spicy. The cashier was extremely rude, telling me in a harsh tone that it wasn’t possible and insisting that it had to be “half and half.” When I refused, she checked with the manager, who approved my request, but her attitude remained unprofessional and disrespectful.
Then, I told her that I didn’t want wings because we don’t eat them, and she rudely replied, “What do you mean? It’s chicken!” I asked why they were making it seem like it was my first time ordering, and she suddenly raised her voice, sighed loudly, and stormed off to the manager.
When she returned, she told me in the same disrespectful tone that my request wasn’t possible. At that point, I asked for a refund, and she rudely told me to return the food, even though I hadn’t received anything yet! Then, she threw the receipt on the counter and told another employee to process my refund.
This was the worst Popeyes I have ever been to, and I had my hungry kids with me, which made it even worse. Terrible customer service—never coming back! I highly do not recommend this...
